Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 11 Week 16

Recommended Posts

Rays Funds, supported by

Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus.

After last week’s nightmare

fixtures we are back to normal this week with all the main leagues to pick

from. We’ve got a top PUP again too with Swindoncanary in the hot seat making

the final six selections. Swindon is one of our intrepid fans who travels hundreds

of miles to watch our beloved team play. I’m thankful that I can get to all

home games and have nothing but admiration for those who have to travel long

distances whenever they want to see their beloved team. Swindon has been in

good form this season but has fallen foul of some of the awful weeks we’ve had

lately. He’s also a previous winner when making these selections. Let’s all

help him make it another winning week with our very best selections from the

games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on the Bill Hill or

Bet 365 web sites.

Thank goodness we have a

Norwich game back this weekend. Selecting the final picks for the game against

Barnsley we have Baldyboy. It’s great to have Baldyboy back on these threads

this season. He’s hit the ground running with a very impressive record of 7/9

78% through what has been a very difficult period for us PUPs. Baldyboy

volunteered for the extra Arsenal game a few weeks ago and was really unlucky

but I think he’ll have better luck on Saturday. Let’s help him all we can with

our best suggestions from those listed on Bill Hill or Bet365.

Still need a few of you to

confirm the dates below. Don’t worry if they’re not suitable I will happily

rearrange : -

For those of you who are at the

game on Saturday you will see AgeUK bucket collection around the stadium. The

collection is for Still On The Ball which is a community based project for

football fans and even some ex-players living at home with a recent diagnosis

of dementia. The group meets monthly in the 59ers lounge at Carrow Road. This

bucket collection should secure the future of the group for a long time to

come. Hopefully you will see plenty of publicity leading up to the game and the

community heroes are the family of the late Bob Heffer who played for Norwich

in the mid fifties. I’ll be near Carrow Park with Jellytot who is one of the

collectors so come and say hello if you’re around that way.

Have a look at the companies who support our work to raise

funds for the CSF and our wonderful Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and girls. We

would like to say a massive thank you to:
-

 http://www.assetangels.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/assetangels

http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/

https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/

If any other companies out there would also like to

support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this

thread every week.

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to Swindoncanary and Baldyboy. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes

Syndrome boys and girls.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Martin and Simon... the thread is

yours.......[:)].......

Evening fellow PUP’s!

Thanks for that very kind introduction Nutty!

Looking forward to picking so hopefully there will be lots for me to mull over before deciding!

Anyway, for me the Madrid derby to end all square

For City, it’s more difficult but I’m going for Murphy to score

Argentina Primera Division for me. Boca Juniors have won 8 out of 8 this season, scored 21 and conceded just 2. They are at home to Racing Club, who are 20th out of 28. Bit of a risk, home win is 11/20.

For the Norwich game, I''ll stick to my favourite prediction, 2-1 to us-it''s got to happen sometime!

Good luck to Swindon Canary, Baldyboy and all PUPs.

My own record is terrible. I''ve lost the last three weeks and four of the last five. But onwards and upwards. Hope I don''t put the kiss of death on this but we always beat Barnsley? Don''t we? If I was to pick one game that we''d win before the season started it would be Barnsley at home. I''m really looking forward to the day for the reasons in the OP so that''s my pick : -
Norwich          v          Barnsley          Home Win
For our game I''ll take Marley Watkins to score in a Norwich win.

Massive apologies for missing last week but life got very much in my way. Now for this week I fancy Liverpool who are on a good run of form and at good odds and I can''t see Southampton turning them over so my bet is......

Liverpool v Southampton....Home win.

Good luck this week to one and all and Nutty the 23rd Dec is good for me cheers.

Hi All,Very tempted to go for long odds Buckie Thistle against hapless and win less Brechin (7/1) but instead will go for the safer acca bet ofAustrian Regionaliga Ost - Horn vs Stadlau - home winWin odds for City are not very generous but the 0-0 bore draw looks value @ 14/1Good luck to Swindon and Baldyboy and well done to Purple for his win.

Tricky few weeks...some unlikely results..

Dug a bit deeper for Swindon this week to try to find something really strong. A trip to the lovely Romania for the rather obscure League 3 Serie 4 clash (do keep up Nutella 😆) between:

CNP Timisoara vs ACS Sirineasa - Away win

Sirineasa are top of the league with a prodigious goal-scoring and Timisoara are second bottom and ship goals like a sieve...

As for Baldyboy’s Norwich bet, I hugely look forward to the game. I think it’s a massive game for Norwich and I have no hesitation in picking a Norwich win and a Nelson Oliveira goal.

Parma 💪👍

A home win for Schalke against Hamburg on Sunday is my tentative pick.

As for City it all comes down to whether we score that crucial opening goal. I am hopeful we will, and that the its not a a case of AlongComesNorwich to give Barnsley their first win in 80 years, as we chalk up a league win by two clear goals for first time since QPR. I nearly combined it with a Nelson anytime but am not sure of his fitness.

Good luck one and all

With Molly here. The Ost section of the Austrian Regionalliga.Horn to win at home against Stadlau.Horn, top, have a 7-0-1 and 23/5 home record. Stadlau, one from bottom, have a 1-0-7 and 7/18 away record. The current odds are 1/8.---For the NCFC bet I suggest Norwich City to win and Pinto to score, at 18/1.Good luck to all!

Plymouth under Jimmy Floyd have really picked up in form recently and are playing well above their current league position suggests Oxford on the other hand started the season very well but have faltered recently but still sit in comfortably in mid table so the odds are fairly generous on this one.

Plymouth V Oxford Home win

As for the match bet, I felt we needed a rest mentally as well as physically after the Ipswich & Arsenal games. so now it''s back to form and a 2-0 victory tomorrow and Jerome to get on the score sheet.

Good luck pickers

I’ve been in Edinburgh all this week so I think I am going to go for a home win for HIBERNIAN v St Johnstone. Neil Lennon seems to have got Hibs playing well winning their last 4 whereas St Johnstone have lost 4 out of the last 5.

The Norwich bet is hard to call. I’m going to go for a slightly uninspiring 1-1.

Good luck to Swindon and to Baldyboy, I hope you find some good picks!
