ron obvious 1,711 Posted December 1, 2017 http://readnorwich.com/2017/12/01/alexander-tettey-confirms-hes-talks-leave-norwich/I''ll be very sad. He''s vastly underrated & will be very difficult to replace - without paying a lot more, which we obviously will not do.
lake district canary 4,830 Posted December 1, 2017 http://readnorwich.com/2017/12/01/alexander-tettey-confirms-hes-talks-leave-norwich/He''s had a good run with us over the years and a very nice person to boot. Good luck to him if he decides to move on.

Syteanric 1 Posted December 1, 2017 The only muscle we''ve got in the team...Trybull needs a minder and Reed is a runt...Tettey would have been perfect against Cardiff tonight...
Miss Demeanor 67 Posted December 1, 2017 And the exodus begins!
daly 551 Posted December 1, 2017 Bring on the exodus
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted December 1, 2017 Better hope Godfrey is going to be able to step up because our midfield are absolutely powder puff without Tettey in the side, for all his faults.
Capt. Pants 5,008 Posted December 1, 2017 We''ll need to replace him, possibly with Morsy from Wigan. He won''t be cheap though.
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted December 1, 2017 A very good player at championship level struggled a bit at pl level. A very good servant to the club but getting on a bit now and a tad injury prone. Will be hard to replace if trybul is injured or doesn''t extend his contract. He would have been on decent cash and part of the financially forced clearout
king canary 8,757 Posted December 1, 2017 Not until the end of the season at least, shame but not unexpected.
he 0 Posted December 1, 2017 As the results show we are missing his footballing ability. With him in the side we are much more balanced. Especially as Farke like to use way to many attacking minded players in the side. Norwich do not have the willing to use the money required to get in a worthy replacement. He is the glue in the team when he is playing. None of Reed or Trybull is no way near him important for the side. To use Vrancic as a defensive midfielder is of course a unbelievable silly choice by the manager and all other managers would have seen that. It must be humiliating being on the bench with such a bad footballer as the first name on the team sheet in front of them in the pecking ordrer.
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted December 1, 2017 Brilliant. Just what we need.We can’t cope without him when he’s injured, god knows what happens when he leaves altogether...
Baldyboy 1 Posted December 1, 2017 Can he take Farke and Webber with him please!
Hairy Canary 754 Posted December 1, 2017 A serious blow if he goes. We look so lightweight in the centre without him and not a coincidence that the downturn started when he got injured
Boris 62 Posted December 1, 2017 Tettey become injured and we in terrible form after that....
Feedthewolf 5,885 Posted December 1, 2017 Anyone know when Louis Thompson might be available again? He could be a natural successor to Tettey if he can stay fit. Strong lad with a great engine.
Helsinki canary 302 Posted December 2, 2017 If he does go , we are heading into league 1. Tettey is still the key to our midfield. He played in practically all the great unbeaten run games and has now been absent in this current league 1 pointing meltdown. Its certianly not rocket science. He needs to be kept at all costs. AJ 1,359 Posted December 2, 2017 If we don''t get promoted this season (which is looking ever increasingly unlikely of course) I could imagine a fair few players going as we''ll surely need to sell in order to buy and certainly need to trim that wage bill. I know they said otherwise at the AGM, but let''s be realistic... Tettey is clearly one of those, and I wouldn''t be surprised if some of the likes of Klose, Pinto, Oliveira, Jerome and Maddison could be pinched by other sides if the money is right.A sad but true reality, compounded to be even worse the lower we finish this season. It is going to be hard to keep our better players in this squad come the summer.
king canary 8,757 Posted December 2, 2017 Last season we did somewhat benefit from having quite a few big earners out of contract to help slash the wage bill. This season we only have Tettey and Wes out of the bigger earners who we can let go without needing someone else to take them. What we need is someone out of desperation to take Naismith or Jarvis off our hands but it won''t happen. Two penneth 0 Posted December 2, 2017 Tettey has just tweeted that it''s not true and he''s going nowhere, adding, you guys will be the first to know. Meaning fans I guess.
