sack race - whose next in the championship ?

Recommended Posts

He would seem the most likely, although I doubt if replacing the manager will be enough. Redknapp is well capable of leaving such a financial mess that it can take clubs years to clean after him. Cotterill is stuck with Redknapp''s 14 signings from the summer - many of whom will need to be moved on.Don''t rule out a ''surprise'' sacking either from a club who feels they should be achieving promotion and are not.

Very eclectic.

I would hope that all managers are given until the end of the season at the very least. Discussing who will be sacked is a sad reflection of modern times.

It is also sad that clubs just keep regurgitating the same old failures.

At least we have tried, since Hughton, to try something different. The argument whether they have been successful rages on but we cannot be condemned for not giving it a go.

It works in a business sense most of the time but it doesn''t help the development of new coaches/managers.
