Mr Apples 1,317 Posted January 5, 2018 Hi all, having to make my selection slightly earlier than hoped. Thanks for the many suggestions for the City bet in what is a tricky week as nobody really knows what teams will appear and form could go out of the window. For that reason I''ve tried to keep the selections relatively broad to maximise the chances of getting a return and balance optimism and pessimism. The £1 selections are:Chelsea to win.Norwich to win.Draw.Both teams to score.Total goals over 2.5.Total goals over 5.5.Penalty awarded.Draw HT/ Chelsea FT.Wes to score anytime. The 50p selections are:Norwich to win 1-0.0-0 draw. All the best everyone and good luck!Apples

YankeeCanary 0 Posted January 6, 2018 Thanks Diane but bad luck had nothing to do with it. I watched the match and, quite frankly, Leicester were too pathetic for me to be disappointed. Not one shot on target by Leicester. During the last 10 minutes, when it was clear Leicester had no intention of attacking their opponents goal, I actually found myself rooting for Fleetwood to score, and they almost did. YankeeCanary 0 Posted January 6, 2018 Despite a lot of good suggestions from the Pups I could not navigate my way to a winning combination. Just as well then that it is my selection that let''s us down on the League group. Now it''s on to the tasty part that is the prospect of the Canaries upsetting Chelsea. Not likely, I know, but it wasn''t likely when I stood on the terraces at the same time in 1959 and, as third level side, we sent Manchester United home with their tails between their legs.
