KiwiScot 1,650 Posted January 9, 2018 The club is protecting itself after overstretching in the premier league and not being successful. Ourselves are angry at the lack of success from a golden opportunity. The owners are not going to sell so what is happening now needs to be done. We are halfway through rebuild season 1 and the midfield will be mostly different next season so will up front. We''ve worked on the defense and once we have got rid of the rest of our high wage players from old campaigns we are going to get the players we need and go for top six. Its not perfect its just what we''ve got. I''m not happy with it. We look to be a mid table side fighting the increasing cost of this league and selling good players we could keep longer, but if we don''t sell(the club, players) that is the reality. To be positive we still have dead weight to trim, will be a championship side aiming for promotion and will find future players who are brilliant and we can still change the manager if need be. Capt. Pants 4,731 Posted January 9, 2018 That''s the hope we need to cling to KS. We need to try and convince Tettey to stay one more year. Such an important player to us.
Duncan Edwards 2,363 Posted January 9, 2018 Be much easier just to support Wolves or something than wait around for this regeneration that might never happen.
JF 694 Posted January 9, 2018 One more year here means less chance of a contract elsewhere afterwards. He’s been a great player for us but realistically he will be moving on in the summer and that will suit both the club and the player
