What do we think?

Probably the same source. But there''s no smoke ...

I think that if there is any truth in that story, that his bags are now being packed

We are shipping out players the quality of which we have zero chance of replacing. Olive might be frustrating and flawed but he is far better in terms of skill than any player who would come to us for the wages we can now offer

Another nail in the coffin that will see us drop down a division fairly soon unless boardroom is replaced

Well the feeding frenzy begins, of course he will go anyone with any sense would , he knows club in decline and what little passes he used to get will dry up even more without Pritch.

If we keep him I can guarantee he will sulk as he does whenever things go wrong on pitch!

Well we can sell him, Murphy next to the the Toon for £12m then we can use Watkins through the middle and play Maddison behind him, then 2 CM''s and 6 defenders. Go for the 0-0 with the odd Maddison free kick 1-0! Delia has her pension sorted and we get promoted... genius!

Quality player but the club will sell if we get offered this.

We will then hear how he had a bad attitude or "wanted to leave." All players will want to leave if they know they are not wanted or that you are not bothered about keeping them. Most will also end up wanting to leave if they can see the club is going nowhere and has zero ambition. Club then uses the fact the player was "keen on the move" to justify pocketing the cash.

Nelson is a class player who is admittedly frustrating at times but who I feel has not been treated very well earlier in the season and has struggled for fitness at times as a result. if on song he''s a seriously good player for this division. We won;t replace him adequately.

The manager picks the team not the player. Can''t disagree too that on the rare occasions NO can be a*sed he''s class but that doesn''t happen enough.Despite all the " we''ve sorted it all out " nonsense that came out of Carrow Rd after the Fulham embarrassment that rift has never healed.

The answer is already at the club! Russell Martin started out as a centre forward!

Take it !!!!!!  He''s not a team player, doesn''t score enough and is bad for morale.   No brainer IMO....

I''d take it Nelson is is a good player but he is inconsistent and does not score enough, if we could squeeze more out of derby or any other team that would be good but we could bring in some decent players with some of the money.

Derby, Reading, Wolves and Swansea were all apparently interested in him let''s get them fighting against each other and cash in.

Unlike Pritchard, which was probably inevitable, but still a big loss, I would happily take £8m for Nelson. He clearly has talent but he doesn''t seem to be able deliver with any consistency, for us or any one else actually if you look at his career stats. He has also always moved clubs regularly - multiple loans from Benefica without ever establishing himself there or at any of the clubs he was loaned to.So even though we''re already thin on strikers I don''t think he''ll ever be the striker we need, so I''d grab the money and hope we can conjure up a replacement.

I''m one of the few who still seems to rate Nelson but if his head isn''t right then we should sell at the price.

However I don''t know how we replace a guy who, even off form, has bagged more league goals than anyone else this season.

£8m is only an opening bid. He''ll definitely go, so you know you''ve got a min £8m banked, so go out and get a replacement striker (for example someone like Will Griggs) and secure him, then haggle over Olive''s figure.

I think he’s good but only when he wants to be, too inconsistent and a bit of a luxury player.

Take 8 million and buy into a hard working young striker in the style of a Holty.

Maybe Webber will dive in again and sell early + buy late... Exactly like you should do in the transfer window.... OH WAIT thats the behaviour of a moron?

Why would you sell Pritchard at a low rate early to the one club who bid when there''s 20 days remaining to nickel and dime?

If the t**t can''t look at Derby''s squad, see there are strong quality fringe players who would add to our squad and wait a little bit to get 15m worth of value directly or via player exchanges, then he''s really lost me.

Webber strikes me as a man who talks a good game but has very little substance or long term proof of delivery, which seems the ideal hire for the "socialist canaries". I''m willing to bet he rubbed his hands when he realised he could manipulate the morons on the board for a few years. You have to ask why he left Huddersfield... Seems it was Wagner who signed their talent.
