Big Vince

Where Are Yer?

Recommended Posts

Millwall 4 (Four), Norwich City 0 (Nil)

Where are all the clappy happers now then, eh?

I challenge anyone to now come on here and say that Big Vince has still got it all wrong and the Suffolk socialists are still the best people to lead the club forward.

Anyone who dares to do so is an even bigger numpty than they are a clappy happer.

The club is an utter shambles from top to bottom and further we get from McNasty the further we fall down the league ladder.

And to think that Ballsup was in the running to take over the country''s finances!!!

Indeed Hoola, an extra day off and drink has lead to this.

Have always ignored this poster as he is not worth wasting my time on but noticed that if his posts are ignored he reposts the same thread demonstrating he is a desperate attention seeker with nothing worth saying.

Surprised you find it a mystery Nutty. Once it got round to the same tiresome subject it was bleedin'' obvious.Surprised the blame game has not been started about it.

I saw the thread pulled as well, funny how that happened after a certain poster was caught bang to rights and suddenly the thread disappears...

Everyone in the local media has to answer to Joe Ferrari, surely you know that by now?

Ferrari is the editor-at-large in Norfolk.

And who might pull his strings I wonder......?

Well Archant must have had a lot of answering to do because their Journalists have hardly been the kindest to the club since McNally left?

Especially towards the end of Neils tenure

Jesus wept whilst i will admit to not being a paid up member of the Joe Ferrari fan club your latest post is beyond ridiculous. Obviously you have not taken on board the different approach by Archant to NCFC in recent times. Your view might have had some credence had Stephan Philips still been on the payroll at Archant at the same time as he was appointed to the board at NCFC. Those days of Archant dancing to the tune of the football club are gone.

Nonsense.

I didn''t read any of the Archant boys exactly tearing into the club''s owners (for that is where the blame squarely lies) after the Millwall defeat.

That is one of the reasons why the Suffolk socialists have got away with it for so long because Archant and the local BBC give them such an easy ride.

Have you ever heard BBC Look East or Radio Norfolk say that Delia Smith MUST go ???

I suggest you read the news features on here from Paddy Davitt,Chris Goreham and Michael Bailey in the aftermath of Millwall.

None of them get to the real gritty nitty issue which is that all NCFC''s woes are directly attributable to Michael Wynn Jones and Delia Smith. They run the club ultimately and the catalogue of repeated failings is down to them entirely. They have failed colossally in their duties as non-executive directors to provide proper scrutiny over all the club''s operations over many years.

There''s no doubt that McNally tried to keep a lid on any negative reporting. Things are different now and Archant have been quite negative towards the club in the last 12 months or so. Maybe not so much with the content which is usually quite objective. But with the headlines or "clickbait" and pictures used. This gives the impression they are more critical than the actual articles are. I reckon this is because more people want to read about and contribute negativity. This messageboard is living proof of this by how much busier it is when things go badly than when they go well.

Admittedly Milwall was a right mess and an even an absurd result in some regards-with 4 goals coming from 9 shots. Nonetheless now isn''t time to panick -this can be fixed.

That game at Milwall and the previous outing at Villa mean that Farke now knows exactly what he needs to do. Every goal was attributed to our defensive behaviour - some of which was boardering on the deranged.

Hanley is a good signing for us. He''s talkative and an organiser. He''s also much more aggressive in the tackle than the German players. We also have other defensive players returning from injury who will challenge for selection. Indeed it is now unlikely that we will see Russ plus a German or even two Germans as our CB pairing again in the league.

Clearly Farke knew he was light at CB that was why he was trying to sign Leistner. Fair play to him for not making any excuses on this account. I would expect Hanley and Klose will be our number one pairing in a 4. However it is likely that the number of centre backs at the club could indicate that he is still intending to play 3 Centre Backs. So far he''s only had 3 to chose from. In other words we haven''t seen what this manager is capable of yet. Ideally Klose would have been fit and Leistner would have signed. Instead of this the manager did what he could with the players available - a stand in and two newbies. The gamble didn''t pay off but the club has done the right thing and signed Hanley. It is not a good start but neither is it the end of the season. So even if big vince and fish face want to tinkle on our strawberries , let them, Bonzo''s dream is still alive. Clap on.

Is that not always the case though, people are just simply more likely to complain than compliment.

Human nature, applies to all walks of life.

Some people are more likely to compliment I think more are more likely to complain. It''s in Archant''s interest to attract the bigger group.

Agreed archant are in the business of selling papers / increasing online footfall, but it needs to be balanced.

If they were permanently having a go at the club, people would soon switch off and their numbers decrease.

I''m sure there is loads more subject matter to print though when things are bad, or extremely good, as apposed to ticking along.

I''ve already said the content is objective and fair meaning balanced. Please don''t twist that.
