Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 11 Week 5

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the fifth week of

this Rays Funds season. This is the first of the international break weekends.

These can be difficult weeks for us because many of our usual hunting grounds

are not available. But have no fear PUPs because gregt has agreed to take this

on and I believe he has all the qualities needed to make this a winning week.

Greg’s having another good season this time with 3 from 4 winning picks at a

profitability of 1.68. This follows last season’s excellent 31/41 75% at profitability

of 5.68.

After such a smooth start to

the season last weekend’s results were really unkind. Don’t be disheartened by

that PUPs. The same thing happened more often in the early weeks of last season

but we still ended up breaking records. Although this is international weekend

there is no requirement to pick international games. There are plenty of lower

league games both here and abroad. Greg just needs your very best selections

from the games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of this weekend that are

listed on the Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site. Please be careful not to pick Friday games.

No Norwich game this weekend

so we can concentrate all our efforts into helping Greg.

I shall be fillin’ my cake ‘ole

in the Bishop’s Garden on Sunday. Would love to see some of you there : -

https://www.communitysportsfoundation.org.uk/fundraising-events/bishopsgardens/

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to Gregt. Remember theres no pressure

because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all

stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports

Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls..

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Greg... the thread is

yours.......[:)]............

I''m on a horrendous losing streak here. Need to break the cycle, so top of the table Switzerland to beat bottom of the table Latvia away. 4/9.

Off to the Land of Ice for me, where Saturday sees a mismatch in the 1. Deild (second division). Thróttur Reykjavík (3rd, 7-1-1 F17 A9 at home) entertain rock-bottom Leiknir Fáskrúðsfjörður (0-0-9 F4 A25 away), and odds of 1/5 reflect the huge gulf between the two teams. Short odds, but not ludicrously so.Very best of luck Greg, on what is always a minefield of a weekend!

Despite three freak losses on the trot, I''ll play it safe this week because there''s not a lot else about that seems worth the risk.Uruguay: Club Nacional vs Plaza Colonia, home win @ 1.33 (Wm Hill).

I''m going to go for a bit of value this week. The Netherlands face the real prospect of not qualifying following their pasting by France. Bulgaria on the other hand beat Sweden 3-2 and in the reverse fixture beat the dutch 2-0. I cannot for the life of me understand why bulgaria are available for as much as 11-1 to win, and I think there''s a real chance this will end with bulgaria getting something, so my pick is Netherlands Bulgaria DRAW - I''m tempted to chuck some money on Bulgaria outright winning so will certainly donate to the PUPs if this bet comes good.

Good luck all.
