Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 11 Week 7

Recommended Posts

Good luck LDC, Splutcho & everyone else, sorry I''m so late but it''s no wonder you didn''t pick:

Burnley to draw at Liverpool (5/1);

though I see a couple have also picked:

Norwich to draw 0-0 (11/1).

FTW - as you asked last week, I don''t bet on football except via Nutty and even then I only get one right in three (at best).

Really gutting to lose like that with a stubborn draw, hard luck LDC.

And for the match bet, nobody could have bet on Wildschut starting, and I''m sure nobody would have bet on him scoring first!

Just one of those weeks, but at least we have 3 well earned points to celebrate from Bramall Lane

Unlucky Splutcho. You can''t cover everything.

If we carry on putting performances in like that away from home selecting away options may get easier for us PUPs.

I must admit, it did make it a little easier knowing if we conceded a last minute equaliser the PUP''s would come away with something. It was a pleasure making the picks this week and I''m sure somebody will succeed where I''ve failed next week. Have a great weekend, all.

Damn, after a couple of rough weeks, I get both picks to come in - but neither were chosen!Tough luck to our PuP''s again, but a nod to Molly Windley with a cracking shout for the city game with us to win 1-0 and Wildschut to score at 50-1!

So Wooster, last week I said that your Watford pick at 4.5 would be one of the most profitable picks of the season. Little did I think you''d top that straight away but this draw prediction came to pass at 5.27. Hats off to you buddy, amazing stuff[Y]

Thanks Nutty, another slice of luck I think.

That said, Burnley''s away games have been a win at Chelsea and a draw with Spurs whilst Liverpool had a midweek game, so a draw looked possible.

Sorry to see the match bets miss out, but pleased with our 3 points at Sheffield.

Great three points Wooster. And some good calls on that too. But it''s impossible to cover everything. Despite not picking up anything it still feels like a good weekend because we got that great result. It''s usually Rays Funds that picks us up after a let down by our team so it''s great that they picked us up with the new version of "Along came Norwich....."
Lakey got the other five so it was just Aberdeen, my pick, that let us down. One thing I try and check for with my pick is to find out if they''re playing a bogey team. That definitely wasn''t the case because Aberdeen had won the last 13 league fixtures against Kilmarnock. Grrrrrrr....
Still another thing that has cheered me up is that we topped 50 PUPs for the first time this season with 51 trying to help us get a win. With that sort of support we''ll be winning again very soon.[Y]
There are just two PUPs left with perfect records and when I do the tables tomorrow Wolfie and Purple will be leading the way on 7/7.
Wooster is well clear in the profitability on +10.35!

Just the stats and tables to tidy up. Of those 51 PUPs who gave suggestions 34 won (67%). Between us we made 34 different suggestions from which 24 won (71%). Lakey did even better than that with his 5/6 (83%) but the luck wasn''t with us this week.
