nutty nigel 7,509 Posted September 13, 2017 Welcome to the seventh week of this Rays Funds season. This week we have Lake District Canary selecting the final six results. Lakey’s one of our top PUPs who have a good record when making these selections. He’s won twice before and also has a win when making the Norwich selections. Lakey’s one of our exiles who has a great passion for our club and these threads. When he can get to his beloved Carrow Road he comes to see us in the Nelson and it’s always a pleasure to spend time with our Lakey. LDC has been in fine form this season with 5/6 83% correct picks but will need help with our very best picks from the games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of this weekend that are listed on the Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site. We have Splutcho making the final picks from our Norwich game selections. It’s great to have Splutcho back this season. He’s a top PUP and we missed him when he was away. But that’s the thing with our community, if any PUPs take a break for whatever reason they are welcome back at any time. Splutcho was actually the very first winner when making these selections so I’m really looking forward to his picks this week. Splutch, you have a tenner to spend buddy and you can divide it how you like using the PUPs suggestions and your own. I’ve provisionally set the rota for October. If the dates aren’t convenient please say and I will change. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Colin and Tom... the thread is yours.......[:)]...... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,6, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt,2, GMF,3, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy, Feedthewolf, AJ, JB, PurpleCanary, Hoola Han Solo, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £2083 for the Community Sports Foundation. Feedthewolf 4,844 Posted September 13, 2017 Evening all. I''ve pondered quite a lot over this week''s pick, and there''s plenty of value along with the bankers. I''m moving more towards the bankers, and while 1/4 is still quite short odds for an away win, especially when the team has played in midweek, I am supremely confident that Barcelona will have enough to beat Getafe. As for the Norwich match, extremely tough one to call. Two clean sheets on the bounce, but away wins are hard to come by in this division at the best of times. The bookies have it extremely close, and after our last two capitulations away from home I doubt it''ll be decided by more than one goal. Therefore, under 2.5 goals at 21/20 looks good value. Diane 500 Posted September 13, 2017 Spurs home win for meFor Norwich, that''s a tough one as Blades are on a winning roll so I ll say maybe Jerome to score anytimeGood luck Lakey and Tom
Hissing Sid 154 Posted September 13, 2017 A Sunday lunchtime offering from Italy to try and end a stuttering start...Sassuolo (0-1-2 1-5) v Juventus (3-0-0 10-2) - Away Win For the match bet, I like the look of the draw at 12/5.Best of luck LDC, Splutcho, and all you PUPs PS Oct 21st is good for me Nutty
Baldyboy 0 Posted September 13, 2017 Monaco to beat Strasbourg for me For the match bet I''ll go for Maddison to score but a 2-1 defeat. Hope I''m wrong with the defeat but they''ve won 9 on the bounce in the League at home and we are poor away

Indy_Bones 441 Posted September 14, 2017 Time for somewhere warm I think, so going to the Qatar Stars League with an AWAY win for Al Rayyan in the Al-Khoor v Al Rayyan match. For the city bet, I''m leaning towards a 1-0 away win for us.
Molly Windley 76 Posted September 14, 2017 Hi AllTough to find a pick this week, lots of value bets but short on bankers and a stack of early round FA Cup games on but no odds showing yet.So - Azerbaizan PL and Qarabag vs Kapaz home winNo idea for the city game so Janic Wildschut and 0-1 to City @50.0OK for the 14th Nutty, good luck to this weeks pickers
Mr Apples 1,317 Posted September 14, 2017 After being let down by RvW and Basel last week (I know, what was I thinking) I''ll go to Turkey with Göztepe S.K vs. Gençlerbirligi (home win). For the City bet I''ll go for Klose to score, and the game to be drawn.Good luck and all the best everyone!Apples
Duncan Edwards 2,222 Posted September 14, 2017 SHREWSBURY (top) are currently 7/5 to win away at Oldham (bottom). Even allowing for the top v bottom curse that looks too big. For the Norwich bet, after two clean sheets I''m expecting a cataclysmic capitulation this weekend and there not being a dry set of undercrackers in the county come Saturday tea time. Sheffield United to win to nil. I''ll be delighted if I''m wrong. As long as it isn''t like 9-1 or 7-2 or something...😉

Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,219 Posted September 14, 2017 Apologies for the lack of originality, but I agree with Chelle that Portugal looks the best destination for:Sporting Lisbon vs Tondela - Home winAs for the Norwich bet, I would happily see another nil-nil draw for the greater, longer-term defensive good. Decent odds.Good luck Lakey and Splutcho 👍👏😊💴💰💵🏌🏽Parma
