Barking Mad Barclay Boy

ticket office tinpot

It is what it is - I can see both sides, it would be annoying if you''d gone up to Middlesbrough and had missed out (some, me included, don''t live nearby and have to work when at work!) but ultimately these things are often first-come-first-served. Hopefully more tickets will come through.

I emailed Arsenal and the reply back was unless you are a member you can''t get tickets. They are not taking on any new memberships either. They are not expecting any tickets to reach general sale.
I blame Russell Martin. [8o|]
Another thing to add to the list of charges against the Suffolk Socialists. The others are:

1. Failed academy

2. Failed recruitment

3. Wasted money on Martin contract

4. Wasted money on Moxey compensation

5. Wasted money on new contract for Alex Neil following relegation

6. Failure to sack Neil till too late

7. Failure to sack Hughton till too late

8. Failure to sack Worthy till too late

9. Sentimental appointments in Gunn and Adams

10. Running the club as a social enterprise instead of a professional football club

11. Refusing to sell out to big money

12. Jason Jarrett

13. Doomcaster

14. Blarneymeister

15. Bob the Grocer

16. Cringeworthy political favouritism

This list is not complete.

Multiple tickets to customers not true online. It was one per season ticket holder. I could only get two by using a Friend and Family member''s season ticket number. The whole transaction lasted about 25 minutes from 9.00.
58/59 cup run.......15 minute walk to bus-stop, hour and a half on bus to Tombland, walk down POW Rd and along Riverside, join queue at Bracondale, stand in queue for two hours in pouring rain finally to reach ticket office just as the old boy in front is told "sorry, we''ve just sold out". Kids today? Pah! Sitting in the warm and whinging about having to wait 40 minutes on the phone! Wimps! [:$]
Thats nothing, up at 5.30 on a Sunday morning, bike to ground, join queue round the back of Lawrence and Scots. Slowly inch forward after ticket sales open at 9am, get ticket at 11am then bike home in time for lunch.Happy days[:D][Y]

The poor customer service is not my experience at all. I''ve had to move season ticket seat on two occasions recently due to a mix up and each time the staff, including the gentleman you rather unnecessarily described were friendly and very helpful. Just different rxperiences that''s all.

Careful Old Timers, this is starting to sound like the Four Yorkshiremen sketch!

"Luxury! You were lucky. We lived for three months in a brown paper bag in a septic tank..."

After the Cologne fiasco I''d be amazed if there wasn''t a further allocation. It''s half term week and easily accessible so we could probably sell 10,000 especially in view of the pricing

I found that the other day for Still On The Ball. That picture was before my time but the old place was exactly like that in the 60s too. Sounds daft but I''d love to go through those turnstiles again!

Got a great picture from the Pink-UN where I was in my school uniform with cap sitting on the touchline railings with my legs dangling through

Before the days when Health and Safety went mad.

I think he''s suggesting black people don''t offer good customer service.

Are you pair joined at the hip

Nothing to do with suggesting Black people don''t give good service.

Was stating the particular person at the ticket office, could hardly describe him as a White/Female/Transgender employee

I went into the office got a YES from him from his desk which was 5 yards away

The fact that a sharp NO to my question was hardly good customer service especially as he did not bother to come to the counter.

I don''t understand why that needed to be mentioned is all. It just makes it sound like you''re judging him on his race (which I''m sure was not your intention).

Absolutely - totally irrelevant unless you are trying to make some sort of racial point (which is totally unacceptable). Why not just say that the guy at the ticket office said ''no''. Personally, when I went to get my ticket yesterday, he was very helpful, friendly and efficient - something I find with all the ticket office staff, whatever their gender, race, religious beliefs etc etc

Many years ago a friend of mine went to pick up his young son from his small village school. For weeks his son had been talking about this friend he had made called Michael. So when he collected his boy he asked him "which one is your friend Michael?" The lad replied "it''s him over there in the red jumper".

The boy in the red jumper was the only black child in that school.

We''re never too old to learn from kids.

Bloody hell the world has gone mad when you cannot call a black man a Black Man.

Had it been the woman with the pink hair then I would have said the woman with the Pink hair/Pigtails/Warts etc

PS Always had great customer service from all the Indian Restaurants I''ve been to

Then again they could have been from Pakistan or Bangladesh

The politically correct lobby want everyone to stop seeing what they are seeing, stop thinking what they are thinking and stop saying anything about what they are seeing or thinking. Only safe thing to do nowadays is for everyone to not to say anything to anybody about anything......
