nutty nigel 7,778 Posted September 27, 2017 Welcome to week nine of this Rays Funds season. This week we have Diane selecting the final six results. Diane’s a top PUP and a great supporter of our threads. She already has a win when making the Norwich selections but I know she’d dearly love to get a win with these too. You could say she’s determined to get a win and you only need to look at NCFSC to see how Diane succeeds when she’s determined. I’ve witnessed this from the very start of the Fans Social Club and I can tell you it’s amazing what she’s achieved. So that’s why I’m confident we’ll win this week. Now Diane has told me she only follows the domestic leagues so I promised I’d ask those of us who go abroad to put a bit of background with our picks. I know some of you do that as a matter of course. I used to but have got out of the habit but will make a special effort this week. We are due a bit of luck so let’s hope we get that this week with our very best selections from the games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday that are listed on the Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site. We have Twidio making the final selections for the Norwich game at Reading. Twidio is still our youngest PUP and yet has been involved from the very first season. He was too young to make selections then but he was our mascot on the earliest photos. Arrdee never had any doubt that he’d turn out to be a top PUP and this has proved to be the case with his wins on both parts of Ray’s signature. I’m just waiting for NWC to confirm and then the rota for October will be complete.. Final Six Resukts Oct 7th - Parma - Confirmed Oct 14th - Molly Windley - Confirmed Oct 21st – Hissing Sid - Confirmed Oct 28th – Til1010 - Confirmed Norwich Picks Oct 7th – Internationals Oct 14th – Mystery Guest - Confirmed Oct 21st – NWC Oct 28th – First Wazzock - Confirmed So now I’ll hand the thread over to Diane and Twidio. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Diane and Ryan... the thread is yours.......[:)].... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,6, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt,2, GMF,3, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy, Feedthewolf, AJ, JB, PurpleCanary, Hoola Han Solo, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £2083 for the Community Sports Foundation. Feedthewolf 5,477 Posted September 27, 2017 I think Man United to beat pointless and goalless Crystal Palace is about as nailed on as you can get this weekend, odds are 1/6.For the Norwich match, I think under 2.5 goals at 19/20 is a pretty good bet considering how we''ve been playing lately.Good luck Diane and Twidio! Molly Windley 76 Posted September 28, 2017 Good luck to allNorway 3rd Div - Group 1 and a home win for Kvik Halden vs Odd III(If odds not available for that game then home win for Slavia Prague vs Brno in the Czech League)William Hill special of Jerome to score in a City win @ 7.0 looks good value
PurpleCanary 6,103 Posted September 28, 2017
Good luck to allNorway 3rd Div - Group 1 and a home win for Kvik Halden vs Odd III(If odds not available for that game then home win for Slavia Prague vs Brno in the Czech League)William Hill special of Jerome to score in a City win @ 7.0 looks good value
Probably will be. That game is on my shortlist. Kvik Halden with a 7-2-2 and 40/16 home record and Odd III with a 0-0-11 and 7/54 away record. With four games left Kvik Halden still have a (very) slim chance of promotion while Odd III have lost their last 10 games and are mathematically relegated. Indy_Bones 444 Posted September 28, 2017
William Hill special of Jerome to score in a City win @ 7.0 looks good value
I''d also considered that one myself Molly, my main concern however is whether or not Nelson will be restored to the lineup thus impacting on the chances.Still think it''s a pretty good deal though tbh [:)]

Len 74 Posted September 29, 2017 For young Twidio - Reading 1-0 Norwich (17/2)For Diane - Sabail to beat Sumqayit (2/1)Good luck pups!
ZLF 330 Posted September 29, 2017 I was very tempted by Millwall to beat Barnsley is excellent value but I will wait for sunday and the bundesliga II where I expect Sandhausen to continue their decent home record against lower league teams - home win.As for City I am not confident of a good result form yet another ground where our record is poor. I think it will be a close low scoring game (shock from two of the leagues lowest scoring sides) - so Klose to score anytime.
lake district canary 4,695 Posted September 29, 2017 Aston Villa v Bolton for me, home win. For the Norwich bet, Watkins to score at anytime in a 2-0 away win. Good luck Diane and Twidio and to pups everywhere.
