Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 11 Week 9

Recommended Posts

Welcome to week nine of this

Rays Funds season. This week we have Diane selecting the final six results.

Diane’s a top PUP and a great supporter of our threads. She already has a win

when making the Norwich selections but I know she’d dearly love to get a win

with these too. You could say she’s determined to get a win and you only need

to look at NCFSC to see how Diane succeeds when she’s determined. I’ve

witnessed this from the very start of the Fans Social Club and I can tell you it’s amazing what she’s achieved. So that’s

why I’m confident we’ll win this week. Now Diane has told me she only follows

the domestic leagues so I promised I’d ask those of us who go abroad to put a

bit of background with our picks. I know some of you do that as a matter of

course. I used to but have got out of the habit but will make a special effort

this week. We are due a bit of luck so let’s hope we get that this week with our

very best selections from the games played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday that

are listed on the Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site.

We have Twidio making the

final selections for the Norwich game at Reading. Twidio is still our youngest PUP

and yet has been involved from the very first season. He was too young to make

selections then but he was our mascot on the earliest photos. Arrdee never had

any doubt that he’d turn out to be a top PUP and this has proved to be the case

with his wins on both parts of Ray’s signature.

I’m just waiting for NWC to

confirm and then the rota for October will be complete..

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes

Syndrome boys and girls.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Diane and Ryan... the thread is

yours.......[:)]....

Thanks Eddie for that lovely introduction, as you know I''m so excited and also very proud to be doing the picks and am determined to get 6/6 this week having failed miserably a few times before.

I do tend to stick to the domestic leagues which I know better but will consider every suggestion very carefully ,because I trust you all and know you ll help me as much as you can

I will be popping on regularly too look at your ideas and will be making my picks Friday evening about 9pm.

I think Man United to beat pointless and goalless Crystal Palace is about as nailed on as you can get this weekend, odds are 1/6.For the Norwich match, I think under 2.5 goals at 19/20 is a pretty good bet considering how we''ve been playing lately.Good luck Diane and Twidio!

Good luck everyone, especially Diane & Twidio.

My worthless contributions are:

Bournemouth to draw with Leicester (12/5); and

HT/FT Norwich/Draw (14/1).

I''ve been looking after Mr Apples'' selections which are : -
Besiktas vs. Trabzonspor (home win).
Score draw with Klose to score.
And Til1010 picked : -
An AWAY WIN in the game between Benevento v INTER MILAN.
For the Norwich bet Klose to score at anytime.

A rare pick in the Championship from me. Aston Villa have won their most recent three league games scoring nine goals in the process. Bolton have lost their last five scoring no goals and conceding eleven goals in the process : -
Aston Villa          v          Bolton          Home Win
Our current sequence of results is 1-0. 0-0, 1-0, 0-0, 1-0 so I''m going for:-
Correct score 0-0

That game is on my shortlist.  Kvik Halden with a 7-2-2 and 40/16 home record and Odd III with a 0-0-11 and 7/54 away record. With four games left Kvik Halden still have a (very) slim chance of promotion while Odd III have lost their last 10 games and are mathematically relegated.

This week I fancy a bit of Turkish Delight, with top of the table Galatasaray to beat third from bottom Karabukspor.

For the Norwich bet I fancy a few goals so how about a Norwich win with both teams to score.

Good luck to Diane and Twidio. I''ve got a feeling that we will be lucky this week!

I was very tempted by Millwall to beat Barnsley is excellent value but I will wait for sunday and the bundesliga II where I expect Sandhausen to continue their decent home record against lower league teams - home win.

As for City I am not confident of a good result form yet another ground where our record is poor. I think it will be a close low scoring game (shock from two of the leagues lowest scoring sides) - so Klose to score anytime.

League Two where rock bottom Forest Green Rovers entertain high flying Accrington Stanley. Accrington are joint top scores in the division with twenty goals already whilst Rovers have conceded twenty five.  Forest Green v Accrington Stanley.......Away win

For our game, I think it''ll be close but our new resolve will see us through so........Reading 1 City 2

Good luck Di and Twidio. [Y]
