Number9 272 Posted October 13, 2017 So dependent on Wolves result, if we win tomorrow we could be 3-4 points off the top spot.Remarkable really.

Bill 1,788 Posted October 13, 2017 Not bad.Points dropped by two clubs above us - both to near bottom of the table clubs. At the moment all we can do is to continue to grind out results, rather than looking at our league position.
TIL 1010 4,737 Posted October 13, 2017 So Cardiff lose and Bristol City drop two points at home means 3 points against Hull and we are closing in on the top. Just a shame that Sheff Utd should beat the Scum.
Diane 500 Posted October 13, 2017 Don''t see that as a shame Tilly, if Ipswich lose tomorrow they wont'' fancy their chances against us, if they win they''ll feel more confident
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted October 13, 2017 Well done Brum, helps keep the top of the table nice and compact as we come up on the rails.

It''s the fans whose confidence is easily affected. From comments from binners they don''t want to sit at poorman road whilst we are rubbing their noses in it ... again. As with going top at poorman road way back (MacKenzie with a brace) and their much vaunted stopping us from promotion in 2011 (5-1 to us) it would be nice to have a bit of icing on the cake again. Moving up into a play off place would suit.
