Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 11 Week 11

Recommended Posts

Welcome to week eleven of this

Rays Funds season. We are on a high right now. It’s been a fantastic couple of

weeks for us. We’ve seen wins from Diane, Parma and Twidio which together with some

exciting sponsorship deals that have swelled the presentation pot by £500. Read

more about the sponsorship further down the page.

This week we have a top PUP

who has one of my favourite user names with Molly Windley making the final six

selections. Molly got us a win in the hot seat last season and was unlucky not

to get more from his week in charge. Molly Windley also sits proudly on the

other half of Ray’s signature having won previously when making the final

selections for the Norwich game. This season Molly’s been in great form with

8/10 80% winning selections and I believe he will give us our third win in as

many weeks with his selections.

We have a special guest with Archant’s Senior Sports

Journalist and Norwich City & F1 correspondent Michael Bailey making the

final selections for the Norwich fixture at home to Hull. I love to see that

Michael’s so successful because back when Arrdee started Ray’s Funds Michael

was a PUP posting as mbncfc. For those who like a bit of nostalgia click here
Thank you for doing this Michael.

Although there have been many changes to Rays Funds over the years as it’s

grown the principle is still the same. All us PUPs will be trying to help you

with suggestions for our game against Hull and you can choose from theirs and

your own. PUPanon has given us a tenner to spend and you can divide it however

you like. If you want you can use the whole tenner on one selection or cover

two at a fiver, five at 2 quid or even ten at a pound. If you’re not sure of

anything just ask because all the PUPs will only be too pleased to help and are

all rooting for you this weekend.

Now for that exciting news. Immediately after I posted

about the generous donations we received from the commercial world last week

another company stepped forward to add a link to our threads every week for a

year in support of your wonderful efforts. We have now added £400 to the

presentation pot for this year for links on our threads each week. These companies have done this to support our work to raise funds

for the CSF and our Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and girls. So we''d would like to

say a massive thank you to:
-

http://www.assetangels.co.uk/ (https://www.facebook.com/assetangels)

http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/

https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/

If any other companies out there would also like to support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this thread every week.

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to Molly Windley and Michael Bailey. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes

Syndrome boys and girls.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Gary and Michael... the thread is

yours.......[:)]........

Going to try something different this week and go for a DRAW in the Derby V Nottingham East Midlands, um, derby. Both not having the best of seasons, both around the same area of the table, both will be up for it and both will not want to lose, so a draw looks tempting to me.

For Norwich I''d suggest under 2.5 goals.

Good luck all.

I think Chelsea are excellent value at 2/5 to win at Palace. Chelsea are 3-0-0 away from home, and Palace are 0-0-3 at home… those odds really do seem remarkably long.As for the NCFC game, it''s a toughie. I''ll go with a bit of a strange one: Match to be drawn, James Maddison to score last @ 45/1. Don''t know why, just a hunch [:)]

A Saturday offering from Denmark for me. It''s another top v bottom clash which, given my record, I really should avoid. But what the hey...

FC Nordsjaelland (7-2-2 28-18) v Randers FC (1-4-6 7-15) - Home Win (at 5\6 which seems quite generous)

For the match bet, HT/FT Draw/Norwich

Best of luck Molly, Michael and all you PUPs

In bocca al lupo 🐕 Molly...

....off to Austria this week, where Rapid Vienna should be too attacking and too strong for the weak defence of St Polten.

As for Michael''s Norwich bet it depends which Hull turns up, they have something of the Norwich 2016 about them, capable of throwing a Premier Kitchen sink at teams and equally capable of mentally folding after going a goal down.

No reason to assume our solidity is anything but an ongoing Teutonic modus operandi, so expect a hard-fought tight game, with a moment of Oliveira magic to settle it.

Parma 👍

Thank you for your kind introduction Nutty and for all the time and effort you put into the PUP`s. Big thanks also to the local companies who have sponsored links and helped out a great cause. Well done to Parma for his win last week, the Italy game was a worry after it became a dead rubber but it all came good, hopefully with everyone`s help we can make it three acca`s in a row. A big welcome back to the man, the beard, the selfy stick that is Micheal Bailey. The PinkUn Youtube channel is under subbed, you Paddy and Dave have stepped up the content levels this season and it`s always a good watch. No real strategy for choosing the six results other than trying to find the six picks that I think have the best chance of winning and ignoring the odds part of it. I will make the selection late Friday night so plenty of time to get your suggestions in. Mens, womens, youth, U21`s, Kazakhstan reserve league or the Premier league, if there are odds available it`s in the reckoning for inclusion. For Micheal and the City game I`m going for a safety first City Win/Draw No Bet @1.5 . Hull are a better side than their position and with the international break in between I`m not really sure how either team will perform. Will be back to chivvy all the late pickers along and bump the thread

You can''t beat a banana skin game and the FA cup is the place to find them and I''ve found one. Not confident on this one but as always looking for a bit of value. My pick this week is......

Harrogate Town v Gainsborough....Home win.

All the best to Molly and all this weeks pup''s.

Having issues logging on at home so missed last week, for some reason my log in doesn''t work from my iPad anymore and using my android phone is a nightmare as this site seems to be riddled with pop ups and redirections to play store gambling apps (does anyone else get these?)

Anyway I''m going for Spurs to beat Bournemouth

For the Norwich bet a 0-0 bore draw

Good luck everybody

Michael -you do realise you have to pay three pounds to do this..

However, can I suggest both teams to score?

For Molly I fancy Limerick to beat Drogheda please.

Good luck both!

To the EFL 2 for me this week and Notts county who have recently had a little splutter of form - a loss away to well fancied Mansfield and a surprise home draw with FGR- having taken top spot should get back to winning ways against a very poor Barnet side and at even money may just boost the return.

For the Match bet I''ll suggest that super sub Wildschut will score at some stage of proceedings.

and as always good luck to Both picker.

[/quote]Good

to see you back on here Michael, albeit temporarily. While you''re here,

it shouldn''t be too much of an ask to approach your bosses to see if

they''d care to join our list of sponsors. They''ve been generous with

other fans groups in the past, so a donation to this group would be very

welcome and  beneficial to all concerned.
Right Molly, League One where second in the table Peterborough entertain second from bottom Gillingham.......
Peterborough v Gillingham.......Home win.
For our game........
City to win and Oliveira to score anytime.
Good luck Molly and Michael. [Y]
