nutty nigel 7,351 Posted October 18, 2017 Rays Funds, supported by Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus. Greetings PUPs, welcome to week twelve. This week we have our great friend Hissing Sid selecting the final six results. Sid’s a real rock on our threads. I honestly don’t think he’s missed a week for over ten years. That’s dedication for you. But those of us who know him won’t be surprised because apart from time away with the RAF I don’t think Sid’s missed a Norwich game in that time either. Now PUPs, in previous years Sid’s had no luck at all when making these selections. Perhaps I should say he’s only had bad luck because that would be fairer. All kinds of ridiculous things have happened to scupper his selections even at the very last minute of the last game. So let’s make sure we give him the very best ammunition this weekend from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365. In the hot seat for the Derby Day Norwich picks is NWC who I’m pleased to say is back with us this season. When he was with us before he managed wins in this and the final six so has a double mention on Ray’s signature. I’m glad that thanks to the generosity of PUPanon NWC can make these picks this season. I’m sure all you PUPs will help him with some brilliant suggestions for the game on Sunday. Have a look at the companies who support our work to raise funds for the CSF and our Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and girls. So we''d would like to say a massive thank you to: - http://www.assetangels.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/assetangels http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/ https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/ If any other companies out there would also like to support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this thread every week. So now I’ll hand the thread over to Hissing Sid and NWC. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Ian and Marcus... the thread is yours.......[:)].......... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,6, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt,2, GMF,3, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy,2, Feedthewolf, AJ, JB, PurpleCanary, Hoola Han Solo, Diane, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £2154 for the Community Sports Foundation. Mr Apples 1,314 Posted October 18, 2017 Greeting PUPS, off to Portugal this week with FC Porto vs. Paços de Ferreira (home win). For the match bet I''ll go for 2 red cards with draw H/T and City F/T.Good luck and all the best everyone!Apples
lincsy88 93 Posted October 18, 2017 Playing it rather safe this week with a Man City home win against BurnleyFor the city result I''m going for Maddison to score anytime and Norwich to win 3-1.
Baldyboy 0 Posted October 18, 2017 Spain for me this weekend, Barcelona to win at home to MalagaFor City, Jerome to score anytime, too close to call the result and I don’t want to jinx it for City!
Platonic 1 Posted October 18, 2017 Another tricky week to find tempting value, but I like the look of Arsenal to beat Everton at Goodison Park which is around evens at the moment - Everton look slow and Koeman looks like a dead man walking - I think Arsenal will have too much for them. For the only game that matters, I think this will be a frustrating game for both teams so I would bet on a red card being shown.Good luck all
SwindonCanary 455 Posted October 18, 2017 After a poor run of predictions I''m going for something safer Portugal Premeira Liga FC Porto home win against Pacos Ferreira (playing Sunday)Norwich Bet an away win (fingers crossed)
Indy_Bones 441 Posted October 18, 2017 I''m going to go down under this week, with a HOME win for Melbourne City vs Wellington Phoenix. For the City bet, I''m going to suggest Maddison to score first.
AJ 1,218 Posted October 18, 2017 I''ve had an absolute ''mare the last two weeks! So to get back on track, I''m favouring a banker over good odds this time around by backing PSV vs Heracles for a HOME WIN. PSV have scored a whopping 20 goals in their last 4 games, winning 5 on the bounce. Heracles are not having the best time losing 3 of their last 5.For the Norwich bet, simply has to be Norwich to win doesn''t it?! I''ve got a feeling it''ll be a tight game, HT DRAW FT NORWICH is my suggestion. Good luck everyone, especially Sid and NWC!
TIL 1010 4,655 Posted October 18, 2017 A very good afternoon to you Nutty and here is hoping Ian and NWC can add to the pot with the help of all you lovely PUPs out there.Premiership for me and an AWAY WIN in the game between Huddersfield and MAN UTD.For the Norwich bet Maddison to score the first goal of the game. Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,204 Posted October 18, 2017 Good luck Sid, think Slovenia looks good this week with the Champions League regulars of NK Maribor play the rather weak defence of Ankaran Hrvatini, who have shipped 33 goals the opening 3 games. Maribor are 2 points off the leaders Olimpia Lljublana and also have an inferior goal difference. They will likely go after Ankaran pretty hard...As for NWC exciting Derby bet, red cards, penalties and high drama are always in the pot, which why I would happily chip in with a mutually-convenient, coaching-controllable nil-nil draw.....😆😂Parma
Hissing Sid 146 Posted October 18, 2017 Greetings to each and every one of you wonderful PUPs. Thanks Nutty for that very flattering intro. It''s true that I''ve been so close on a number of occasions...I''m determined that this is the time. Some decent selections already so keep them coming. There''s no particular strategy, but each selection will be scrutinised. For the record, my pick will be from Austria...SD Sturm Graz v SV Hattiesburg - Home Win.For NWC, how about HT/FT Norwich/Norwich. Derby Day joy and a winning double on here...can''t think of a better weekend. Bring it on...

Len 74 Posted October 19, 2017 Good evening pups, I''m posting earlier than normal because my pick is too red hot for me to keep to myself any longer. The fact that my wife wants to spend all day tomorrow dragging me around Debenhams, John Lewis and Sainsburys is entirely coincidental.Envigado to draw Atletico Huila (2/1), the records suggest that the odds should be much nearer evens.I will join Nigel in his 1-1 choice (6/1) for Ipswich v Norwich. It looks very wise.
Feedthewolf 4,786 Posted October 19, 2017 Not able to get online much this week, so this will be brief!Real Madrid home win, and Oliveira to score any time.Best of luck all!
Mr Angry 1,511 Posted October 20, 2017 Not having much luck with the internet, and won''t have access tomorrow, so a rather short search for something this week.Home win for Ha Noi against Can Tho in the Vietnamese V League. No idea for the big game on Sunday. Go for a draw.Good luck to Hissing Sid, NWC and all PUPs.
93vintage 16 Posted October 20, 2017 Honduras: Marathon vs Motagua, draw. The home team seems to be on a somewhat unlikely run of wins. which is bound to end.For Ipswich vs Norwich, I''d look at under 3.5 goals, a penalty and a win/draw double chance for Ipswich. Scores of 1-0, 1-1 or 2-1 would be likely in my view.Good luck all.
