City 2nd 192 Posted October 31, 2017 Don’t think there can be any doubt Saturdays and today’s results certainly indicate just where we stand in this league. Totally outclassed tonight, as just admitted by Mr Farke in his post match interview, and its worrying that he himself says we were beaten but quality. It wasn’t just quality, they broke quicker, they moved the ball quicker, and more importantly, it was forwards instead of sideways and backwards. Is alarming that we cannot create chances, let alone score. The bubble has well and truly burst, and whilst going eight unbeaten away, not winning in five matches at home, where we have only scored six goals, is alarmingto say the least! Yes we have to accept, Mr Farke, that we are in a building stage, but leave matters as they are in the striking area and we will become relegation fodder! Oh, and can I suggest, like many, you ditch the zonal marking. It clearly does not work!
djc 0 Posted October 31, 2017 Its only two defeats after 8 excellent unbeaten games. Lets not panic just yet.
Barry Brockes 157 Posted October 31, 2017 Fancy those nasty foreigners putting millions of pounds into a football club. It''s just not fair and shouldn''t be allowed. Still, at least we are a community club and proud of it.

Sack the manger, sell the first team, burn the stadium to the ground and everything will be fine.

yellowandgreen 34 Posted October 31, 2017 Anyone who thinks they can explain away our home form by going on about our unbeaten run was not at the last two games. We are probably the worst home team in the world..Yes Wolves were better than us. The gulf in quality was unacceptable, I''ve been going for forty years and this is the poorest home form I''ve ever seen. But heyho there will be an away game soon so hopefully we can pick up the points there. You want more. Had McGoldrick been half the striker Holt was, Ipswich would have been one up before city scored, if not more! And Hull at home! We are conceding goals at a great rate, mostly from defensive errors, particularly Villa and Millwall, who couldn’t buy a win until we got there! The goals against column demonstrates the failings! And the goals for column likewise.
Gordon Bennett 864 Posted November 1, 2017 I don''t think anyone should be writing the top six off yet. We will be there or thereabouts come May. Last night we were thoroughly outclassed by an expensively assembled squad, simple as that. The home from needs sorting though as we can''t keep winning away as we have been. Jim Smith 2,498 Posted November 1, 2017 A vivid example of what is to come as our owners stance (repeated again this morning on publication of the accounts) of refusing to sell or seek investment renders us more and more uncompetitive against teams in this division who are bankrolled by more wealthy individuals. king canary 8,406 Posted November 1, 2017 @JimCompletely. We''re seeing now teams that have barely sniffed the Premier League in the last 5 or 6 years being able to outspend us pretty easily.
