What now for Jason Shackell, he must be annoyed at not even being put on the bench. IMO he is our best defender and I just hope this isnt the end of his Norwich carrear. Not taking anything away from Doherty bit I think Shacks is 10 times better and should take his place.

Anyway, well done Worthy for all your other decisions today like dropping Flem, starting WLY, putting Hucks on the bench so he had something to proove and the best decision making Hughes Captain.

The word from some at Carrow Road is that Shackell is carrying a back injury. This may take quite a long rest. If he had the problem over a few matches, this may explain why he was not quite at his best.

Today Doc was given a chance and he took it. A 30-40 yard pass to feet to put Hucks in and a couple of other times later that nearly came off. A few iffy moments but with games he will get better.

If rumours are correct and the lad is just returning to full fitness lets hope we see the great potential he has to offer playing alongside davenport.Today win was great for the 3 points.Lets see how the defence plays against 11 men not a very very poor Ipswich side with a div 1 striker playing up front on his own.If shacks can play with a similar player like davenport then it will be the first time he has had a quality partner.Time will tell us the answers.

Even if Davenport returns to the Spuds after his loan period (which looks likely), perhaps The Doc will have got jis confidence and blossomed by then, so that Shax can come back and partner him. At least one thing speaks for itself - Fleming has been off the field for a match and a half and we haven''t conceded.
