Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 11 Week 14

Recommended Posts

Rays Funds, supported by

Asset Angels, Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus.

Greetings PUPs, welcome to week

fourteen. This week we have Mr Apples in charge of the six results and making

the final selections. Mr Apples had a tough international week last season and

he was really close to cracking it with a very unlucky 5/6 just missing out on

£70 through one drawn game. He already has a win when making the Norwich game’s

final picks and always tries his best to make sure we have a selection even

when he’s on holiday. He’s having a terrific season this time sitting right

among the chasing pack in our league with 83% winning picks. So let’s find him

some great ammunition from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that

are listed on the Bill Hill or Bet 365 web sites.

Making the final selections

for our away at Bolton we have we have one of our bright new recruits

Hansterbubble. Hanster’s been brilliant since he joined us a few weeks ago. He

hasn’t missed a week since then and I see the potential of a great PUP in him.

It’s fantastic to be able to get the new recruits further involved quicker and

for that we have our anonymous benefactor PUPanon to thank. You have a tenner

to spend Hansterbubble and you can divide it how you like between the PUPs

suggestions and your own. If you’re not sure about anything just ask. All the

PUPs will be only too happy to help.

The DS game was a real joy last Saturday. So

many smiles and so much passion were on display. Derby came out on top but it

must be remembered that due to their location they can play in a competitive league.

Here’s a picture of the two teams and a link to a video of the walk on. (It’s

Facebook so not everyone will be able to see it.)

Have a look at the companies who support our work to

raise funds for the CSF and our wonderful Downe''s Syndrome Team of boys and

girls. We''d would like to say a massive thank you to:

If any other companies out there would also like to

support our efforts, we''ll be happy to add you to our list of links on this

thread every week.

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to Mr Apples and Hansterbubble. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes

Syndrome boys and girls.

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Graham and Hanster... the thread

is yours.......[:)]........

Scarred by last week’s flawed cliffhanger pick between Shakhtar and Cottbus, am focusing on the mind-body-Spirit balance of the Danish:

Fortuna Horring vs Velje - Home win

In bocca al lupo 🐺 Signor Mele 🍎

As for Hanster’s Norwich pick, I think we can be a little more positive than in recent weeks, when faced with a step too far and a step too high. Away at Bolton suits us well I suspect, their recent slight upturn may well play into our hands.

Norwich clean sheet and a win by +2 with a goal from Maddison should be worth a few bob...

Off to the Swiss Challenge League for me, and a home win for Servette, against the bottom club Winterthur.

For the Norwich bet, a simple Norwich win will do for me.

Good luck to Mr Apples, Hansterbubble and to all PUPS.

Nice and early this week. For Mr Apples I will suggest a game in the German Bundesliga 2 where I think top of the table Fortuna Dusseldorf will win their home game against third bottom Heidenheim.
Fortuna Dusseldorf          v          Heidenheim          Home Win
For Hansterbubble I think Stiepermann has looked dangerous recently and will be scoring soon.
Marco Stiepermann to score anytime.

Looking for a bundesliga home win for RB Leipzig.

Suspect there will be changes this weekend so a scorer will be hard to find so avoiding Jerome I will go for more than 2.5 goals in the game.

Sorry I missed last week, was a bit of a busy one for me. This week I''m going for our good old friend Alex Neil to get a win with Preston away at Ipswich and for the Norwich game I am going for City to win by two or more goals.

Hi PUPs and thanks to Nutty for the kind introduction. This is now my 4th season of picking and it''s as enjoyable as ever and great to support a fantastic cause.I''ll be making my picks on Friday afternoon as I''m off on holiday again so if you can pile your suggestions in that would be great (Nutty - I''ll PM you my selection for next week). For this week I''m going to Greece with Olympiakos vs. Platanias (home win). For Hanster''s City bet I''ll go for a return to winning ways with a City victory and Stieps to finally rattle one in.Best wishes and good luck!Apples

Many thanks to Nutty for the wonderful introduction and for this opportunity to help FONCY. I’m really excited to have the chance to make the picks for the Norwich match bets and I will do my utmost to add a few more pounds into the kitty.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, there are some great ones in there, but keep straining your intellect and intuition as I need all the help I can get!

For Mr Apples, I’ve decided to try my luck in Scotland this weekend and suggest an away win for CELTIC against St. Johnstone.

Good luck!!

I''m going to search for some value this week. In the Polish league, second-placed Legia Warsaw travel to rock-bottom Pogon Szczecin, who have yet to win at home this season. You''d think that the odds on an away win would be relatively short, but 11/8 looks rather enticing when you consider the relative quality in Legia''s squad. They have no European commitments so tiredness shouldn''t be a factor. It''s a risky strategy, but coupled with five bankers could make the odds really attractive! As for the Norwich match, I''ll go for Norwich to win both halves at 11/2.Best of luck to Mr Apples and Hansterbubble!

On a bit of a terrible run of form at the moment, so to try shake that off I''m going to drop down to the National League North and back Salford vs Alfreton Town for a HOME WIN at reasonable odds of 1.5.

For the match bet, I''ve got a good feeling about Madders to score first and Norwich to win 2:1.

Best of luck everyone, especially Apples and Hansterbubble
