Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted September 18, 2005 So we turn our attention to the Carling Cup with the visit of Northampton town looking for revenge after they beat us 1-0 two seasons ago! That match was very embarrassing for me! I live in Northampton and went to the game. So many of my friends are Cobblers fans and they are still reminding me about the result now! I said at the beginning of the season ''I hope we get the Cobblers in the cup again because with our squad now we would blow you apart!'' Well it''s happened and basically if we lose again I will never ever live it down!! Come on Norwich it''s about time we absolutely thrashed a lower league team in the cup like we did against Torquay 6-1 many seasons ago! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

There are 4 things to look to take from this Northamton game.1) Revenge and put right the embarrassing night of 2 years ago.2) Have a bit of a cup run - something we have lacked for a long time.3) Goals - we need to find the net, get a hat full and get the confidence again.4) Back to back wins, get into the winning feeling again.
