Baldyboy 1 Posted July 17, 2017 Maybe with a bit of foresight by Webber and the sale of Jacob we could have gone for centre backs from a higher level than Bundesliga II!Will we spend any decent amount on another centre back or will we use the money on a decent striker, or will we just be prudent and save if to rebuild at the end of next season? Wishbone 8 Posted July 17, 2017 I''d say we definitely need another centre back if we''re to play three at the back. Klose is always getting little injuries. That leaves us with Martin, Zimmerman and Franke. Leaving only Godfrey as back up. Even though Zimmerman has played every minute of pre season, it''s widely expected he needs development before being considered at first choice at Championship level.
