So anyway Purple....

Recommended Posts

There was a decent chuckle in the South Stand at the solitary shout of "come on you purples!". On the kit though, I found it sometimes difficult to pick out players against the crowd- I did wonder if we could have a ''Man Utd grey kit'' type issue should we use it. It could have been the LED advertising hoardings distracting me though- they were very (... overly?) bright and annoying.

I think it''s awful, and I wanted a purple kit. They managed to pick a horrible shade.

Anyone who buys one is a grade A mug.Any use of them against teams in blue or black will as you say lead to confusion. the whole idea of tem is such ablatant money grabber that you can'' blame the club - as they know how many halfwits will cough up.Yellow shirts for all games then a change of colour when we clash, which is not that often,When I posted that the club should have a second half strip I was pulling the pee. I dread to think what else I suggested will become to fruition. Advertising on the goal posts or corner flags ? Ref/Lino wearing a sponsors corporate colours ? Delia parading around the pitch at halftime in some upmarket range of lingerie ?

Looked like 11 bottles of Vimto running around the pitch, dreadful kit as is the cheap looking black away kit. The black number from last year was a classy shirt, should just of stuck with that.

Will clubs ever realise that a not insignificant percentage of males have some degree of colour blindness?

Last season against Wolves I had a real problem distinguishing between the two teams, and the guy next to me - who had a bigger problem in that he supported the Orient - was more colour blind than me, and was only going by the black shorts.

For me, the problem got worse as the floodlights came on.

Then, a few weeks later Wolves played Liverpool in the cup and I couldn''t watch it as their kits were so similar.

Assuming that the same percentage of players have some form of colour blindness, could this explain some of our wayward passing?

Simply we don''t need a 3rd kit. A decent home and away kit would be nice. Some of the kits I''ve seen designed on here and twitter etc are soooooooooo much better than any the club produces.

I prefer the 2nd and 3rd strips to the new 1st team one and will be sporting a new little number at Craven Cottage next week.

The third kit is just for the jeans, but this year it seems it''s just for the girls. Makes me wonder is a purple canary a girl;)

I have to agree with move closer though, better kits were made by the guys on here.
