You inspired me Ron. Please read to the tune of ''Candle in the Wind''

Goodbye Tony Dreu

Though I never knew you at all

You had the grace of Fabregas

With or without the ball.

You came down from Accidemics

Where the SPL is shite

They set you on the treadmill

To help City''s promotion plight

And it seems to me you lived your life in the under 23s

Never knowing who to pass to in the senior team

And I would have liked to traded you

for the real Fabregas

Your contribution burned out long before

your legend forever lasts.

Would be decent at L1 level so for Coventry it''s a really good signing, should be good for 10-15 goals from midfield in that league, he''ll also get a bit more time on the ball than he got in Scotland''s frenetically paced div 1.

Glad he''s off the wage bill for good though, was a total waste of money from AN as he''s nowhere near top Championship/lower Pl (which we were at the time.)
£1 million, goodbye.
I very much doubt we paid to get rid

Coventry would have just covered the last year in his contract as his transfer fee and signing on fee

and then he will get his new wages on top

At least he''ll get some regular football and he''s off our wage bill so best result all round in the circumstances.

Always a very odd signing and no surprise to see him go after AN leaving. The U23s might miss him though!
