Using Google translate: "Norwich City continue to make their way to Toni Leistner. Up to now, Union remained ironic and his own plans with the hard defender.

The photo of Abwehrchef Toni Leistner (26) decorates the announcement poster for the next home game on August 27 against Bielefeld. Theoretically it could be Leistner''s farewell party for the Union. The transfer period ends on 31 August.

Until an increasing tug-of-war is going on. The English second division Norwich City has been keen on the interior defender for weeks. In the last game against Kiel (4: 3), Stuart Webber was even more eye-catching. The sports director of Norwich sat next to Leistner consultant Branko Panic on the grandstand in the Old Foresters!

Norwich City offered 3.5 million euros

Norwich''s offer of € 3.5 million was denied by Union some time ago. The presence of Webber, however, suggests that Norwich Leistner has not yet depreciated. The Ironmen want to keep the champions and join them in the Bundesliga. Union has passed to BZ information on counter-attack.

The club does not only want to keep Leistner, but rather to extend his contract in 2018 prematurely! In this case, his salary could rise sharply. Thanks to an exit clause, he might still be able to switch to the island in 2018. Leistner has not officially spoken this summer, but said in 2016: "There are many aspects that speak for England."

If Leistner remains without contract extension until 2018, he would be free of charge. The next three weeks will be exciting. It is clear that Union wants to have peace as soon as possible."

For sure.

Seems to be mates with Franke - congratulated him via his twitter page when he moved here (if that means anything of significance).

Who is, out of interest?

The article suggests Panic is his ''consultant'' but that could mean anything lost in translation.

On a side note, Branko Panic, what a great name!

Not sure who is Toni''s agent, apparently he is with ICM Sport and I know Branko works for PRO Profil.

Could be Toni has recently changed agencies, although he is still on the ICM website as a client. I don''t believe Branko has changed jobs recently.

Webber could have been there looking at someone else or was watching Toni and just happened to be sitting next to Mr Panic in the posh seats.

I would suggest the better translation of ''Berater'' is ''advisor'' - so Branko Panic is an advisor of Leistner.

The whole thing is basically a speculation piece saying speculation pieces such as this wont go away until there is no more speculation.
Webber was actually there to try and persuade Branko Panic to come and be our defensive coach, as the replacement for Mark Noone.
This post hasn''t received enough appreciation haha. Class.

Turns out that Pro Profil who Panic works for have a partnership with ICM, the company who represent Toni. So he could be his agent after all (or at least he works for an agency affiliated with the one Toni is represented by).

Players these days don''t tend to have one "agent" but are managed by a company, so are represented by several different people within that organisation.
