Bill 1,788 Posted August 12, 2017 yep, I appreciate it''s not City related, nor even football .. but''That is a near-perfect display from the British sprint quartet - CJ Ujah with phenomenal reaction time of 0.124 secs, Adam Gemili brilliant second leg after injury-wrecked season, Danny Talbot with flawless bend, Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake holding off the 100m silver medallist Christian Coleman and finishing with a beautifully timed dip.''really excilerating to watch... brilliant, brilliant finish(Bolt pulls up injured)hereBritain in white top lane 7 n the outside
Branston Pickle 3,635 Posted August 12, 2017 Shame about Bolt, but they were only ever fighting for third when he pulled up; a pity it''s taken so long for some more GB medals to be won but 3 in the evening is a decent return.

BroadstairsR 2,138 Posted August 13, 2017 I was just just disappointed at having to miss out on one last chance to do the Mobot.Team GB did reasonably well in the end. The USA apart, the medals were evenly spread out and we did achieve the world record for the number of fourth place finishes.Considering we put out a very young team and had a few notable absentees and underachievers, Greg Rutherford (ankle,) Richard Kilty (finger) and Katarina Johnson-Thompson-Johnson (writer''s cramp from signing autographs,) to name a few, we should be in better shape for the next event in Doha in 2019, with an eye on the following Olympics. All is not lost as Mo could win a Marathon or two as well.Did you know that it was Claire Balding who ''invented'' the Mobot? ... What a girl!

Cracking atmosphere at the end, looking for more of the same at Carrow Rd today. Could have done with a couple of hours more sleep though.
