ZLF 335 Posted September 20, 2005
http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/Postings/2005/09/HealyClaimRejected.htm
Not a surprise - I only saw the tv replay and there did not appear to be any contact - so sad Does that mean they should be booking Lisbie for diving? Making Plans 957 Posted September 20, 2005
http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/Postings/2005/09/HealyClaimRejected.htm
Who cares anyway. You know, the ref knows, the linesman knows and I know that it was a foul. He got sent off and we won. That''s all there is to it.In a way I''m glad as it will just rile Royle & the Town supporters even more and that pleases me enormously. Duncan 0 Posted September 20, 2005 The sending off was a difficult decision for the referee and it is not obvious either way from the replay. However if you look at the reaction of De Vos and Magilton towards the referee afterwards then you have to wonder if one or both might have been sent off as well. Hucks was sent off for abusing the ref at Stoke so the furious reaction of the Ipswich players might well have been punished. Of course this was surprisingly not mentioned by Joe Royle! Putney Canary 0 Posted September 20, 2005 That just makes the whole thing funnier! Certainly from the replay it didn''t look deliberate, but I think we deserved a bit of luck... and this must be REALLY upsetting the binners! Ace!
