Surely we have other lads in the youth team we can give a chance to that may make it. Clubs will regularly bring in players who may never make it beyond a youth team, but strengthen that youth team at the time and therefore help the development of the most promising players within the team.Moving younger players up to early in their development can harm their progress so it is less than ideal to add them in as filler.
