If wed only kept Howie..

Time to get Fonkeu

Wasn''t the last player we bought with a funny name van Wolfswinkel? That one didn''t work out too well.

Having said that, there must be hundreds of songs we could sing if he did join.

On the Pink Un main page. And Paddy said today on the 1.15pm chat, aside from any major hitch, the Phillips chap is done too.

It''s odd that we''ve apparently signed both this guy and Phillips, but not made anything of either - they may be here for the u23 squad but still potentially decent signings

Apparently he''s got some ideas about half time food.

(Insert your melted cheese puns here)

Well, when Middlesboro are paying £7M for a raw forward, from West Ham, then we may have done some good business here (in comparison)

SSN also say that Huddersfield are happy to listen to offers for Nakhi Wells. Is he a player that City fans could think would fit in our system?

I''m not sure of his attributes but he''ll be out of our price range. We''re shopping in Tesco. He''s Sainsbury''s Best Of or whatever it''s called.

7mil for Ashley Fletcher! AHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA.West Ham paid peanuts for him from Man Utd, he was absolutely terrible for them since signing, and now they''ve apparently made a massive profit on a player who''s only ever done OK in L1 or the Man Utd U23''s!Utter madness.Still, back on topic, good to see Fonkeu has signed, showed a bit of promise whilst on trial, was wanted by a number of other clubs and even if he can''t make the step up to this level, we''ll probably still make a profit if we do sell at a later point so almost a no-lose gamble.

The pronunciation explained:

So blond Mac gives the original Belgian*, while Martin demonstrates the accepted Norfolk approximation (ok, he''s from Lowestoft but the point holds)

*uh-huh...
