KiwiScot 1,443 Posted April 21, 2017 Season is over lets enjoy ourselves. Nice to see Alex back, nice to see Chris back. 4:5 to Brighton why not have them win the league. Chris Martin for a hat trick, 2 goals and 1 o.g.
KiwiScot 1,443 Posted April 21, 2017 Err. Russell Martin, not Chris
Van wink 2,994 Posted April 21, 2017 Bennos game will strengthen when he learns the art of looking over his shoulder.

Nuff Said 5,131 Posted April 21, 2017 Pritchard again! That''s gotta hurt if you''re Brighton. [;)]

KiwiScot 1,443 Posted April 21, 2017 Two amazing strikes.
Van wink 2,994 Posted April 21, 2017 Next season those will be going straight in without assistance, hopefully for us!
Budapest Canary 152 Posted April 21, 2017 Pritchard''s/Stockdale''s brace was among the funniest I''ve ever seen. Kicking myself for not putting a tenner on them.I wonder if Hughton will change tactics for the second half.
Unhinged Canary 375 Posted April 21, 2017 Sounds like some great banter going on between the Barclay and the Brighton fans tonight!
Van wink 2,994 Posted April 21, 2017 Wish I was there!
norfolkbroadslim 223 Posted April 21, 2017 Disgraceful! Not one shot on target at home in 90 minutes!!! [:@][:@][:@]
Van wink 2,994 Posted April 21, 2017 Decent performance, all that''s left for us now is to pi$$ on Leeds season, which would be a joy!
Budapest Canary 152 Posted April 21, 2017 TBH I never understood why hitting the post does not count as on target.
norfolkbroadslim 223 Posted April 21, 2017 Because the area inside the posts is the target. Anything outside that, is off target.Having said that, a shot that hits the post or bar then subsequently goes in the net without any further contact from anyone else on the pitch, is counted as on target. Clint 221 Posted April 21, 2017 But that has hit the target NBS so it would be a shot on target.
A Load of Squit 5,161 Posted April 21, 2017 "Former Ipswich keeper David Stockdale has scored more goals at Carrow Road this season than the current Ipswich squad."[:D]
Dorset Canary 0 Posted April 21, 2017 Thought we held good shape tonight although only saw the match on television. Looked like Pinto went missing a bit tonight defensively, anybody at the match have get a better look?Pritchard definitely MOM but thought Naismith put in a good shift as did Bennett. Guest Posted April 21, 2017 A lot to be happy with tonight.Defence learning to pass the ball to a team mate and meaning to.Some delightful interplay in tight situations and the best performance by the two sitting midfielders for a long time.Shame Josh didn''t see a bit more of the ball as he had Bruno beaten. Van wink 2,994 Posted April 21, 2017 To be honest we have never had any problem laying at home when the pressure is off. It''s them other games which are the problems.
norfolkbroadslim 223 Posted April 21, 2017
But that has hit the target NBS so it would be a shot on target.
Technically, has the original shot "hit the target", though? For example, a shot hits one post, the ball does not cross the line, the ball rolls along the goal line, hits the other post and only after hitting the other post does the ball then cross the goal line. Was the shot on target? [:^)]
Clint 221 Posted April 21, 2017 If the ball goes in the net via the post without touching another player, that has to be a shot on target. That''s my interpretation anyhow!
Baldyboy 0 Posted April 21, 2017 Top chant from Brighton fans tonight, "we only score when we''re sober!" 😂 Apparently they have been on the lash since Monday, boy did it show tonight! Very poor, but doubt they care!
Herman 9,756 Posted April 22, 2017 So City didn''t do their jobs properly and that we only won because the other team was drunk?!
city4eva 209 Posted April 22, 2017
So City didn''t do their jobs properly and that we only won because the other team was drunk?!
We did do our jobs properly, no shots on target though and Brighton were poor.
MyGodWeArePoorToWatch 0 Posted April 22, 2017 I think as a football game, that is one of our best performances this season. Patient play, great build up, and solid defending. Not one criticism for the team on that performance.
