Leeds v Norwich

Recommended Posts

Any thoughts on today''s game? Plenty riding on it for Leeds, only pride for us. Be nice to stop them getting to the play offs but alas can''t see us getting a result, our defence will let us down again, Monk will get a good look at us, if potentially he''s one of the names being considered should Leeds fail.

Hopefully our attacking players but in another good display., with next season in mind.

The season has been a let down. Most of us expected better.

Instead we have had upheaval at the Club from Moxey through to Neil and all in-between. At least Gladys the tea lady has survived the carnage.

We need stability now.

A little run of victory''s at the ending of the campaign will restore faith.

A win against Leeds would be some consolation, albeit not much, for the fact that we are not in the play-offs at the least.

I''m clueless about who our next "manager" should be, but Monk seems quite a decent choice.

Us winning against Leeds will probably seal his fate at that club so if he is in the reckoning it would be more than useful for us.

We''ve won 3 from our last 4 and Irvine will want to go out on a high and win the last 2 games to maybe get himself a job in our coaching team.

Dont like dirty ole Leeds so hope we spoil their party.

Am expecting much the same line up as last week

1 Ruddy

25 Pinto

5 Martin

24 Bennett

3 Dijks

8 Howson

4 Dorrans

7 Naismith

21 Pritchard

31 Murphy

9 Oliveira

Listening to the game on Ustream, sounds like we are starting well. Hoping for some Pritchard magic. He played very well in space last week against Brighton.

It sounds like Leeds is getting sandwiched between Norwich & Fulham in concern with keeping them out of the playoffs. 2 - 0 Norwich!!!

"Could do worse, players seem to be playing for him"

Seems like it.

Coming around quite quickly ... would never have entertained the idea at first.

Does he want it?

Just put a fiver on 4 - 3 to Leeds. Saw a stat that if all games finished at half time we''d be second. Plus our back four will always concede.

Really hope Irvine doesn''t get it! Have people forgotten he was part of Neil''s team already? Next we''ll be hearing people saying keep Fat Frankie ffs!

Good point Herman. Hopefully we get a positive carryover into next season, but it is a lot easier to relax and play when there is no pressure to play/win. I am just glad that most of the players have NOT packed it in.

Hopefully all our supporters get home safely from Leeds once we take the three points. We''ll effectively end their season today 😃
