City 2nd 191 Posted March 7, 2017 The board are not going to come out at this time with any verbal vote of confidence of AN or indeed even state that HE WILL be given the summer to clear out the deadwood and lead NCFC into next season, because they know full well the feeling of the fans at this time. As Butler acknowledged on RN tonight, when the travelling support (the diehards) turn, as they appeared to do tonight, then the board and AN know they have a problem. Should they verbally make any statement of intent in support of AN, they know full well that ticket sales will decline, badly, and they cannot afford that loss. Yes, there is a ST waiting list, but how many on that list, and current ST holders and members who have not yet renewed want to go through another season, or part of a season such as which we have witnessed of late. We are a dreadfully poor side, that is evident to everyone, but any verbal commitment will see a big drop in support and revenue. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
