Needed to win back the midfield second half but he just ignored it.

Absolutely this. We know that our defense is a calamity but we lost this game, again, in midfield. Our midfield made just 1 tackle between us and them scoring, 40+ mins of play and we could neither win the ball back nor keep possession.

Removing Josh was the right choice, but adding Godfrey was the call, sitting in the middle of the park and disrupting play in the crucial area of the pitch. This was evident from around 55 mins.

Losing Dorrans, Thompson and Mulumbu has hurt us defensively. Tettey is not at his best and howson has simply never been the defensive shield that this back 4 needs (esp with wannabe wingers at full back).

We have to regain the central area of the pitch; if we want pinto and dijks to push forward that means combative def midfielders. 4321 or 433 now looks the way - to cover the ineptitude as its clear we cant score enough to cover the laughable goals we concede.
