Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 10 Week 33

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to week thirty

three of our tenth Rays Funds season. We have another top PUP and previous inner

with Statto picking the final six this weekend. Statto is a top PUP who has

been with us for the vast majority of our ten seasons. He always signs off with

that sentiment we all share “here’s hoping for a City win and a PUPs win. Soi

we can all help Statto make half that come true with our very best selections

from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on Bill

Hill or Bet 365 web site.

We’ve got a newcomer to the

thread this week with Felixfan making the final selections for our game against

Barnsley. Felixfan was another winner from our Southampton guess the gate

competition where he was just 296 out with his prediction. So let’s make

Felixfan welcome with some great selections from our game this weekend. Felixfan,

you have a tenner to spend and you can choose from the PUPs selections and your

own, splitting the tenner into as many bets as you choose.

Here’s the rota for April. As always please let me know

with your selections if the dates are ok.

Final Six

April 1st

Norfolkbroadslim

April 8th

The Great Drinkell

April 15th Wooster – Confirmed

April 22nd 93Vintage

April 29th Hoola Han Solo

Norwich Picks

April 1st

Crabbycanary

April 8th

Len

April 14th Jamie Witherspoon

April 17th PUPanon – Confirmed

April 22nd TBA

April 29th TBA

Now

just to repeat from the end of last week’s thread - And thanks to all who have sent/promised funds to top up the presentation

pot to an unbelievable two grand. But we have done better than that! Funds and

promises of funds came in from Tilly, nutty, Lakey, Parma, Cosmic, Inchy,

Lessingham, Lapp, Purple, Daniel and Wooster. The total that you guys have

sent, promised and won is an amazing £180.

You PUPs are unbelievable in your support of Rays Funds and our wonderful

DS boys and girls. What this all means, unbelievably, is that we have £2,000

to present on Saturday and £40 to start a new presentation pot.

Take a bow you wonderful, wonderful PUPs.

So on Saturday at 12:30 our wonderful Downes Syndrome boys and girls take

on their Crystal Palace counterparts at Carrow Park. I doubt I will be able to

get there for 12:30 but intend to be there if I can at some point during the

game. It would be great if some of you brilliant PUPs could be there too for a

small presentation of this huge amount after they’ve finished their game. Here

again is the picture from last year : -

Image may contain: 18 people, people smiling, people standing, child and outdoor

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to Statto and Felixfan. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes

Syndrome boys and girls..

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Jamie and David... the thread is

yours.......[:)]............

I didn''t realise I''d qualified to do the final six, but tbh not entirely sure how the selection process works. But yeah, I can do the 29th 😄👍🏼.

My pick this week is Hibs to beat Dumbarton in the Scottish Champo.

As for the Norwich bet I fancy Cam to get on the scoresheet again.

May the force be with you.

Buonasera tutti pupetti...and good luck Statto 👍💪😊

Off to Slovakia this week for:

Slovan Bratislava vs FC Vion Zlate Moravce - Home win

As for Felixfan''s Norwich bet I''m really not sure what to say. Very hard to predict with lots of variables. Can imagine Irvine reverting to defensive sanctity so perhaps a combined bet of:

Norwich to keep a clean sheet

Jacob Murphy to score

Parma 🤓😊💪👏

Good Luck lovely Pups

Nutty - I will be over at Carrow Park at 12:45 to see the DS team but we have to meet up with the csf crew to get our instructions for the bucket collection at 1pm ish and then will be off to our allocated spots so probably wont make the cheque presentation which is a shame

I hope I''m there in time to see you Diane. It''s not a formal presentation although I hope there''s some PUPs there to have a picture done with the DS team. It''s a shame you''ll miss that because I know you''d want to be there. Good luck with the bucket.

[/quote]Absolutely, Diane. Highly recommended for anyone who can get along in time. For the bet, to the Polish Ekstraklasa.Lech Poznan to win at home against Gornik Leczna.Lech Poznan, second, have won their last five league games, and have an 8-2-2 and 18/7 home record. Gornik Leczna, bottom, have a 1-4-7 and 12/28 away record. The current odds are 1/4.---For the NCFC bet I suggest Ryan Bennett to score the last goal, at 28/1.Good luck to all!
