Lessingham Canary 99 Posted March 25, 2017 Really sad news that Peter Oldfield passed away last night, Peter was famous for loping after sponsors on match days, was always on the pitch with the MOTM awards at the end of the match, famous for his mop of white hair and big smile. Had time for everyone, and a half decent golfer as well. We have a lost, imo, a true NCFC legend, and the world is a poorer place today without this true gentleman, thoughts ( and a few tears) with his family. Fromage Frais 10 Posted March 25, 2017 Very sadI knew him more back in the 90s but I bumped into him last year at the ground.A very nice nice man an asset to the club and back in the day would make the effort to show bits of access behind the scenes which as a youngster builds that bond between supporter and club.God bless him and his family. Woodman 92 Posted March 25, 2017 Very sad news, Pete was a lovely lovely man. I worked at Carrow Road in my youth and he was a part of the fabric of the ground. He was there in the tunnel, on the pitch and knew everyone. RIP Peter Oldfield.
