Going Saturday can I see some players who might just put in a shift start team building now. Godfrey needs to be in the side. Noone who played tonight deserves a place in the team new management side has major rebuilding job with little investment or guile from the Board.

I do think him not playing yesterday was the right choice; huddersfield attack down the flanks and the defensive work from naismith was preferable to maddison, assuming pritchard (rightly) started in the middle. I dont think he is solid enough to take one of the two deep midfield roles that the back 4 need.

Is he just too similar to pritchard to start away from home? I would hope we see him saturday too, and perhaps a tweak to a 4141 with pritchard and maddison central in front of Tettey and behind Jerome or Nelson would work.
