Dicky 0 Posted April 5, 2017 So left-wing Delia/MWJ are joined by Ed Balls and the club has no bl00dy idea how to compete in the (football) business world. Loads of money wasted, complete lack of direction, tough decisions not made when they should be - where have I seen that before. Give me a hard nosed businessman/woman who will get the club competing again, please, I''ve had enough of Delia''s little club, we''re a joke.

Google it if you''re interested. Jeff Bezos (Amazon CEO) is extremely liberal blahblahblah. Business skills and political perspective have pretty much nothing to do with each other, and that really shouldn''t need explaining.
Guest Posted April 5, 2017 Stating the obvious here, but both Delia and Michael are pretty successful in business, otherwise they wouldn''t be able to afford to own a football club. The football business part is what they appoint others to take care of. McNally did it well for a while, but it soured pretty quickly, showing that even the most hard nosed business types fail. Nuff Said 4,938 Posted April 5, 2017 It''s hard to know where to start with this one. So what you are asking for is for the club to be run to be sustainable and make as much profit as possible? Because that''s the aim of most businesses. The current board are doing a good job of the first - and achieved the second to a far greater extent than the vast majority of their competitors last season. Is that what you want? No, didn''t think so. Tw*t.It''s got **** all to do with their politics, just as your post has **** all to do with logic.

hogesar 9,502 Posted April 5, 2017 So if we get the EDL on board to run the club does that mean we win the champions league?
Iwans Big Toe 309 Posted April 5, 2017 Acording to the left wing propaganda I have recently had posted through my door the Green Party are the new Tories. I find this most confusing because I thought that New Labour were the new Tories. Obviously though I was wrong. What I''d like to know though is that if the Greens are the new Tories does that make the Lib Dems new Labour? And what ever happened to Screaming Lord Sutch and the Monster Raving Loony Party?I''m going to go for a lie down, wake me at the apocalypse.

Stood a candidate in the recent Stoke by-election. Their candidate "The Flying Brick" had some interesting policies. cornish sam 922 Posted April 6, 2017 I would actually argue that a "leftie" is far better than a hardnosed capatilist for running a football club. Football clubs are notorious money pits, capatilists are only interested in maximising their return, those two things don''t align. Just look at how well that capitalist is doing down the road for what happens when someone uses a football club to enhance their business portfolio!

No, politics has FA to do with running a football club. If Dicky knew anything about politics at all he would know that Ed Balls was highly respected by both ends of the political spectrum. However, this doesn''t necessarily bring success in the football world and I''m drifting towards the ''it''s about time Delia moved on camp'' but not because of her politics.
