Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Season 10 Week 36

Recommended Posts

Welcome PUPs to week thirty

six of our tenth Rays Funds season. This weekend we’ve got Hoola Han Solo

picking the final six for the first time. Hoola very kindly stepped in at the eleventh

hour to help me out this weekend. It’s that kind of support that makes this

such a joy to run so thank you Hoola.Hoola already has two previous wins when

making the Norwich picks so I think we’ve got a great chance of getting back to

winning ways. Let’s find him the ammunition he needs to shoot down the bookies

with our best selections from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend

that are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site.

This week we have Len making

the Norwich picks. This is Len’s first season with us and its great that we can

take advantage in PUPanon’s generosity to get the newer PUPs more involved that

much sooner. Len’s been an asset to us since he joined and has kept me on my

toes with some different selections from unusual places to ensure the final

picker has plenty of options. I hope you enjoy your week in charge of the

Norwich game Len. You have a tenner to spend divided up how you like between

your picks and those suggested by our great team of PUPs.

Just a heads up that we will go 41 weeks

this season finishing on weekend 13th May. I’m sorry that didn’t

allow for everyone who picked regularly this season to get a chance to make the

final six selections. You will get your chance early next season. Here’s the

final six rota for the last two weeks : -

May 6th  – Snake-Eyes

May 13th – Crabbycanary

Please could you confirm the dates with

you selections this week.

Just a reminder that it’s been proposed we

have a PUPs meet up in the Nelson after the game on Good Friday. Hope as many

as possible can make it.

here''s another picture from that great day with our DS boys and Girls : -

Image may contain: 11 people, people standing and outdoor

So now I’ll hand

the thread over to Hoola Han Solo and Len. Remember theres no pressure because we are all going to be doing our

best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of

raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes

Syndrome boys and girls..

Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Chris and Len... the thread is

yours.......[:)]............

In early this week spurred on by seeing I''m not doing too badly in the profitability league (although sad to see I missed a few weeks picks- I need to remember there''s football when Norwich aren''t playing).

I fancy West Brom to beat Southampton and frankly I''m amazed that you can get them for 2/1 in some places at the mo (this will defo shorten), so I''m hoping for some extra value this week.

For Norwich, this game will have goals, so I''d be tempted at some high overs markets, over 3.5 for example.

Good luck all.

Thankyou for the introduction Nigel. I''ve learned a lot from reading through the previous pup threads and looking at the various types of bets, so I''ll use this to good effect hopefully. Please help by suggesting the result and whether there will be lots of goals or not. I don''t think we''ve done too well against top six sides this season.Don''t be afraid to suggest a ''negative'' result!

Thank you Nutty for the warm introduction and the chance for me to make this week''s picks, and hopefully add some funds to the PUPs pot. I shall make my final selection some time on Friday after 6pm.

This week my pick is Spurs to beat Watford. And for the Norwich bet I fancy a 2-2 draw.

Thanks in advance to everyone that helps me with their selections, and of course as always, may the force be with you.

Found another top v bottom clash (although with my form in the last 2 months, watch the form book get turned upside down)

Germany, Bundesliga II, Sunday

VfB Stuttgart (2nd, 15-6-6 45-30) v Karlsruhe (bottom, 4-10-13 21-40) - Home Win

For the match bet, I hate backing against City, but a 2-0 Reading win is 20/1 on bet365.

Best of luck Hoola Han Solo, Len, and all you PUPs

Derby are on a roll with Rowett who was my choice for here so I ll go with a Derby away win for my pick

For Norwich impossible to say really, all I can suggest is a draw halftime and fulltime.

Anthony would like Liverpool away for his pick

Good Luck to Hoola & Len all all you lovely pups

Hi all, off to Greece this week with PAOK Salonika vs. Panathinaikos (home win).

For the City bet I''m hoping some new faces will be given a chance so I''ll go for Maddison to score.

Best wishes and good luck everyone!

Firstly a couple of thank yous, to Hoola for swapping dates at late notice - and to NN for arranging it. now for the picks;

If we hadn''t been looking at the return of IP and MD at full backs I would of thought Reading were the value bet of the weekend at nearly 3/1 but with these 2 returning I think we will be more solid at the back and a bigger threat going forward - therefore can''t bring myself to predict this one

so I''ve chosen

Fleetwood who have hit form at just the right time, despite a slip up last week against an Oldham side who are struggling at the wrong end of the table.

Oldham V Fleetwood AWAY win

For the Match bet I think this will be a really tough match for us and think with the extra need Reading have they might just squeak out the win so I''ll reluctantly predict a 1-2 away win.

Good luck to both pickers.

I''ll pick Spurs to beat Watford this week, please.City match is tough - no idea who will be playing, but Reading are a decent team on decent form, so Reading to win and both teams to score at 11/2 looks a decent shout.Good luck all!

Good luck Hoola Han Solo, Len and everyone else.
My 8/26 correct forecasts doesn''t bode well for the following:
Middlesbrough to draw with Burnley, at 21/10.
After last night''s capitulation I don''t hold out much hope for the Reading game but I some of our players may want to impress the new DoF.  So I''m going for Reading to win 3-2, at 33/1.

The Armenia Premier League.Gandzasar to win at home against Ararat.Gandzasar, with a 7-1-3 and 13/5 home record, are only a point off top. They have won their last five, albeit without scoring a hatful of goals. Ararat, with a 1-1-9 and 5/21 away record, have lost their last five and are rock bottom. The odds are 2/9.---For the NCFC bet I suggest Wildschut to score the last goal, at 13/2.Good luck to all!
