nutty nigel 7,352 Posted April 19, 2017 Welcome PUPs to week thirty eight of our tenth Rays Funds season. After Wooster’s really unlucky 5/6 last weekend we have 93Vintage in charge of making the final six picks this week. I’ve been looking forward to 93v’s turn this season after he stepped in at the last minute on a Saturday morning last year and still managed a credible 5/6. 93V is also our current profitability champion after he finished last season on an excellent +£8.63. He’s won twice on the Norwich bet too so will be looking for a signature double this weekend. 93V always finds a different selection and keeps me on my toes hunting down the results. You’re definitely a match for Purple buddy and I enjoy hunting down your games. We can all help by finding our very best picks from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend that are listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365 web site. This week we have Greavsy picking the final selections for our game at home to Brighton. Greavsy joined our thread a few weeks ago and gets this chance to take a more active part sooner because of our anonymous benefactor PUPanon who sponsors this part of Rays Funds. PUPanon is very keen that new PUPs get an opportunity to get involved as early as possible. The Brighton game is on Friday evening so we will need to get our suggestions in early to give Greavsy enough time to choose. Greavsy you have a tenner to spend split how you like between the PUPs selections and your own. I will need these selections by 2pm on Friday in order to be sure of getting them placed before the game. If you’re unsure of anything just ask on the thread and I’m sure the PUPs will be only too pleased to help. Just a reminder that we will go 41 weeks this season finishing on weekend 13th May. I’m sorry that didn’t allow for everyone who picked regularly this season to get a chance to make the final six selections. You will get your chance early next season. Here’s the final six rota for the last two weeks. Just need Snake to confirm now. : - May 6th – Snake-Eyes May 13th – Crabbycanary - Confirmed It was great to see so many people at the Nelson last Friday. I had no idea of what was planned and I’m sure I was a bit emotional. The shirt signed by our wonderful DS boys and girls is now one of my most treasured possessions. I loved the collage too and will post those pictures again here in case nobody saw them. Massive thanks to everyone involved and I also got a nice message from Ray’s daughter Marie who said “Dad would be so proud and I know he’s looking down smiling”. Thanks everyone. So now I’ll hand the thread over to 93Vintage and Greavsy. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downes Syndrome boys and girls.. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away Jeff and Greavsy... the thread is yours.......[:)]........ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As always I leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,5,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,5, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,3, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary,3, Cosmic Twin,5, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,3, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox,2, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo,2, Mr Bump, Kathy,2, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo,2, NWC, Hughesy, Gregt, GMF,3, SwindonCanary, Twidio, Hector Brockelbank, Lake District Canary,2, Bor Bor Bor, Yellowfuture, Chellecity, Diesel Doris, Lessingham Canary, Molly Windley, Parma Ham’s gone mouldy, Feedthewolf, AJ, JB, PurpleCanary, Hoola Han Solo, yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £2019 for the Community Sports Foundation. Molly Windley 76 Posted April 20, 2017 Hi all, must be bottom of the league by now, but someone has to finish there, so more in hope than expectation....Scottish Cup Final and a win for Aberdeen vs HibsCannot see us keeping a clean sheet but we do win the first half at home a lot so a HT Norwich / FT Brighton disappointment @ 26.
The Great Drinkell 50 Posted April 20, 2017 A massive game at the top of the Championship, with Huddersfield V Fulham - if Fulham don''t win this one then I can see them missing out on the play offs, whereas Huddersfield although they have a slim chance of catching Newcastle I can''t see it so Huddersfield V Fulham Away winFor the match bet Brighton wont be coming to Carrow road to defend and we are better against slightly more open teams - I can see this one ending in a score draw. nutty nigel 7,352 Posted April 20, 2017 I think this is a tough week. In the end I settled for something a bit shorter than I usually pick : -PSG v Montpellier Home WinFor our game. Despite the fact we think they could have been played more the youngsters have already cost me over £100 in my pre season pledge. I could take another hit tomorrow because I expect Maddison could get some more game time and I''m backing him to score again : -Maddison to score Anytime. wooster 134 Posted April 20, 2017 I would have liked to have picked draws at Laval (21/10) or Kohn (5/2) but they are both tomorrow night (£100+ double for a £10 stake?). So, with apologies to TGD, I''m going for a Huddersfield-Fulham draw (at 12/5).For the Norwich bet and only because the odds are attractive, Brighton to win 3-1 (at 20/1).Good luck 93Vintage, Greavsy and everyone else. Parma Ham's gone mouldy 2,204 Posted April 20, 2017 Buona fortuna 93v...a fine betting mind...could be a good week...👌💪💰Elitedivisionen in Denmark for:BSF Women vs Brondy IF Women - Away winAs for Greavsy''s Norwich bet could go either way...a comfortable coronation for Brighton or Norwich feed off the occasion and show up.Rather looking forward to the game, actually think it will be a good atmosphere...think I''ll contradict myself and select a 2-2 draw with Norwich in typically contrary style and Hughton keen to show the ex he can do more than defend...😂👏💪Parma

93vintage 16 Posted April 21, 2017 For the match bet I''d look at a Norwich win or draw, maybe with a Norwich -1 instead of a plain win. Platonic 1 Posted April 21, 2017 Hull vs Watford - home win - the tigers home form is excellent, the Watford away form is poor. For Norwich, slightly redundant now, but you can never really go wrong with over 2.5Good luck all.
