Unfortunately the common denominator here still is, and always has, been Alex Neil.

Blaming the individual mistakes on the players themselves is incorrect IMO, where were these mistakes last season in the Prem (when we had Klose playing) and were fairly solid against much much tougher opposition? Where were the errors in AN''s first championship season when we had a much weaker defence including Bassong, Whitaker and Martin (at RB) as regulars?

We were a reasonably robust unit then, nothing special, but nothing close to this absolute car crash we are seeing at the moment, there is NO reason for the players to suddenly be this bad at defending in this league other than the manager. The comparison in away form from then to now is laughably different,

They''ve all performed for us before and we DON''T need any new players - just a new manager.

Worryingly, I can see a scenario of finishing 7th and it being deemed acceptable for AN to continue as our manager next season... Let''s hope not.

And yes, I did say that AN had started to win me back round in the Norwich 360 thread.

But I still had hopes then that our away form might have actually improved and we''d turned a corner. We haven''t, today was a must win game, we aren''t going to make the play offs.

Get him out now, let someone new come in for the rest of the season to assess the squad and build a team that can compete for the play offs next season and actually get our defenders playing to the sum of their parts.
