Gone for a burton

Recommended Posts

After our defeat at Burton it could be down to being unlucky, too many injuries, tired after playing midweek.Or are they not up for a battle as Burton clearly were.Losing to Burton is not great but did we contest every ball like it mattered.Looking at the game you have to day no.We beat man utd because they gave us space and time, Burton did not. If we don''t want to play in this league we have to match their fight.Norwich are in great shape financially with the best fans in the world, we deserve to be in the prem.

Any supporter of any club will tell you they have the best fans in the world, but the truth is we''re all pretty much the same. Whingers over here, happy clappers over there, most of us in the middle sometimes up, sometimes down.

We do not deserve to be in the Premier league. We have to earn it.

a great support doesn''t make a great team . Millions of wasted money doesn''t make a team .. it''s all about building a youth system that pays off .you need a manager to be there for the long term ..and these things take time .. throwing money around on over rated players is not the way to go.

Just how do we deserve to be in the prem. We were in the prem, and deserved to be relegated. We are where we deserve to be, in great financial shape or not! You don''t get any points for being in great financial shape!!

While 99% of me naturally wants my team to be successful and get promoted, the other 1% thinks we would just be clogging up a place for more ambitious clubs who have a bit more financial clout and a freshness about them. Would we really give it a better crack in the PL than Brighton, Huddersfield, Leeds, Reading or Sheffield Wednesday?

Maybe it would be better to have a clear out and a freshen up in the summer both on and off the pitch and go again next season.

Agree with Gordon, first of all I want Neil out! We will not be in play offs , we don''t deserve it... I want new manager, new ideas and new faces...

Could poor pre-match preparation have anything to do with it?

I think you need a reality check. At the start of the season we were nailed on certainties for automatic promotion - no problem. Then it got reduced to "our aim is the play-offs". Then we had the three priorities nonsense. Now the chances of us finishing in the top six are as remote as you coming out with something even remotely sensible. You need to look at the season as a whole. Seventeen away matches and four wins. The third worst record in the division for away goals conceded. We are going nowhere with this Manager. He is currently on the longest dead man walk in history..

We were 7/1 to win the league at the start of this season, so no we were never nailed on certainties! Newcastle were 9/4 which even that isn''t a certainty, this league is brutal and any fan thinking we should walk it is indeed deluded.

You''ll be long gone after a few years in this league, all the glory hunters fall away when times get tough. We''ve always been a mid to top championship club for people to think we deserve to be in the prem or we''re too good for the championship you''re wrong.

We''ve had a golden few years which was always going to burst at some point. The majority of major investments haven''t worked so we are where we are, it doesn''t always work! The way our fans bang on about RVW you''d think we were the first club to have our fingers burnt. That was nothing compared to say a Juan Veron!

We''ll be promoted again, we''ll be relegated again life goes on, but just because you had a few good seasons on football manager doesn''t mean you''d of done a better a job.

Who the hell do you think you are? I''ve supported this Club for 53 years and have forgotten more about it than you will ever know. Just for your information, I have never been on football manager and haven''t a clue what it is. By the way, a quick lesson in english - it''s you''d HAVE not you''d OF !!
