Thirsty Lizard 3,085 Posted February 22, 2017 And maybe because they''re on a decent run of form with an away win at Villa and draws against Reading, Brighton and Leeds in their last few games.
6088m canary 0 Posted February 22, 2017 Plus they are direct and physical, something we are not good at dealing with. And of course its a local derby so anything can happen.Having said that we should win easily enough if the team turn up.

They have a similar approach to Barnsley, Rotherham, Burton for example. Recently being at home has made all the difference in seeing us home safely, whereas away from home we have been awful. The derby atmosphere could change that on Sunday although the scummers won''t make too much noise unless they go ahead or equalise, so up to the players to make sure that doesn''t happen... BroadstairsR 2,093 Posted February 22, 2017 "No, it''s because it''s a football match you twit."It''s a football match? Really? Such a well informed little Ian.May be that''s why I asked the question? (P.S.No need for insults little boy.)
Alex Moss 2,165 Posted February 22, 2017 They are on a good run of form, don''t like to admit it but it''s true. Seems they have found cohesion with being stubborn at the back whilst also offering better forward movement, so this derby is no formality. We desperately need to guard against a quick start from them ala Newcastle. What worries me is we''re due a sending off against them, or a game where we dominate and smack the crossbar 6 times, then they nick one with a Dean Coney style goal. This is not the time to allow that to happen. One other point - they are also on a good run of ''doing us a favour of late'' form, so in that respect, let''s hope they keep that up 😉
morty 0 Posted February 22, 2017 Well if you ask daft, thinly veiled questions that are just yet another way of having a dig at the manager, what do you expect broady?Let go of your nonsense and just get behind your team.
BroadstairsR 2,093 Posted February 22, 2017 it seems that McCarthy is making the best of a bad job there. Our dope achieves the opposite.I think we will rise to the occasion, but rarely had such doubts in recent times.

BroadstairsR 2,093 Posted February 22, 2017 Advice please.I''ve forgotten how many pubs from Anglia Square to the ground?I only remember the Feathers over the bridge and that was not my orientation.Norwich is rich with good pubs so shouldn''t have a problem. A little bit of local knowledge would be useful though.

Guest Posted February 23, 2017 It''s called sarcasm Broadstairs, a concept that requires a modicum of intelligence to identify. And for someone who doesn''t like insults, you sure are throwing a lot of them around.Could it be that you are nothing more than a garden-variety keyboard warrior who thinks he is the pinnacle of wit and intelligence, but actually is a total buffoon? The sort who makes judgements about people without having a clue what they''re talking about? Having read some of your other posts, it seems like that might well be your forté sir...Anyway, I''m far too busy working for some huge clients (in the heart of Norfolk incidentally) to continue this fruitless argument, so feel free to have the last word.
