Jerome scored 5 in his last 8 games which is not a bad return. He''s over 30, and although he still has great pace and his work rate is duly praised, he could do with some resting or being used as a sub, which would probably improve his accuracy. Oliveira''s injury is not his fault.

Jerome looked knackered after about 70 minutes and the amount he was caught offside or didnt go for the ball because he was slow to come back from an offside position was ridiculous.

I know he''s not flavour of the month but surely even a hungover Lafferty would have been more use on the pitch than Jerome was for the last 20 minutes.

Maybe we should have bought in a young cheap striker who can back up Jerome & Oliviera in January knowing Laffs wasn''t the answer, I''m a tad BOGLE''d why we didn''t buy him!

We do only have 2 strikers that Neil is happy to play. This is ok when they''re both fit. But that''s not going to be too often. Laffs is not the player Alex Neil wants but he''s the player with the contract that Alex Neil would like to give to someone else.

People point to the squad being unbalanced which it is in that regard. But for Norwich to have three quality strikers they''d have to get a Fash or Sutton come through the youth or spend a lot less on other areas. Alex Neil could rightly point to Lafferty blocking up a space. But he''d only have Lafferty''s contract to spend on someone else. he''d have to get lucky for it to be someone as good as the other two.

We seemed to have 1 plan - a ball over the full backs head into the space between full back and centre back in the hope that Jerome could make something happen. I can''t recall a keeper ever coming off his line to clear so often
