Alan Pardew leaves Crystal Palace

Recommended Posts

I could actually see Pardew at NCFC, so I think we need to pull out all the stops to get him.

And I don''t even like the guy.

It''s gotta be Big Sam. To not sack him after their run of 6 straight defeats but then to do so after narrow defeats to Man Utd and Chelsea seems odd. They must have someone lined up. I''d expect a pretty quick appointment.

A decisive board of a PL club wishing to retain its PL status. Not the little old Norwich mentality. If only we''d have dismissed Hughton at Christmas we wouldn''t be approaching a relegation battle to tier three. You couldn''t make it up.

Agreed Highland Canary, I still remember David McNally''s arrogance when Hughton was sacked and appointed Neil Adams - a reporter said "Surely you''ve left it too late?" - McNally''s response - "Oh we''ll stay up. That''s a definite". Only Norwich could leave it to the last 4 games of a season, and then top that incompetence by giving the top job to a radio DJ.

Other clubs can actually see what''s happening and are proactive. Norwich aren''t even reactive. We just muddle on and then wonder why things don''t go the way we want. Well a clue is accepting mediocrity!

Did David Dimbleby, in a very sombre way, do the commentary as he left.

"And with the sunset as a fitting backdrop, as Pardew leaves the Palace for the very last time, as manager anyway, let us rejoice in the knowledge that at least the good folk of Norwich can be assured that they won''t be getting that useless tosser as a manager. In fact, they already have one of those".

Well there certainly isn''t the excuse of there isn''t anyone out there for the job now. There are several viable candidates if and when the board decide to act

Pardew is an interesting one to conceded. At first thought I don''t think he''s what we need, hasn''t got a great record lately either. On the other hand he is very experienced and has a pretty decent record overall. But until the club actually decide to dump AN we need to back him and the team.

No I don''t .. approaching a "relegation battle " Highland said, which on current form is correct. Do you think we are approaching the playoffs Lapps?

Why would we replace one failed manager with another?

Despite their wealth of talent, CP have lost 8 of their last 10 matches and have kept one clean sheet all season. Their squad is ten times better than ours.

CP fans wanted him out, Newcastle fans wanted him out, which suggests he would be no long term improvement on our current desperate situation.

Now there''s a manager that doesn''t fit the "little ole Norwich" or the lovely family club our board want.

I don''t like the bloke, arrogant tw4t but would probably do a good job here. Like other people tho can see him holding out for a prem job.

What do you class as a failed manager tho, someone whos been sacked ?

Like Lambert at Livingston, Rodgers at Watford, Ancelotti at Chelsea, Mourinho at Chelsea, Hughes at QPR, Koeman at Valencia, Ranieri at Greece, Pochettino st Espanyol.

Pardew is a good manager for a short time then it always tails off

i can not see Delia signing him up even though the Casino in Great Yarmouth would love it !

Good for a season before it all goes balls up.

An arrogant egotisticsl man who has lost the dressing room at every club he''s been at.

We are going through the "anyone but Neil" phase again aren''t we?

Alan Pardew must be the only manager to have a worse record than Alex Neil over the last 12 months! There are very, very few managers i wouldn''t take over Neil, but right now Pardew is one of them.
