Bradwell canary 109 Posted December 20, 2016 I expect many of you will recall Delia commenting on Brian Hamilton (another success story!!). She said what a nice man he was. This could mean the Roy will be our next manager! The chairman during Lambert''s time, said afterwards he was the most difficult man to work with. Why were these two vastly statements made? One was a yes man, with no ambition. The other, certainly not a yes man, driven, ambitious and wanted the same success he enjoyed as a player. In other words too ambitious , the club could not keep up with him.Sadly those wonderful, exciting seasons under PL with never be repeated. The old pals act will never work, look at our board. Our world wide ambassador , Fry, disappeared without a trace. Balls, where is he, when a steady hand at the tiller is needed. Dancing with the fairies.Young Tom.....who knows what he can bring to the party. We need some new dynamic blood at board level, and management level, who truly has something to offer.Cheap options will not work. Get them in before the window opens and we waste more money on bench warmers.
nutty nigel 7,352 Posted December 20, 2016 So the owners sold up before Lambert was appointed then the new owners got fed up and sold back to them?

FenwayFrank 2,425 Posted December 20, 2016 Are you on commission for every time you mention him TIL ?
komakino 272 Posted December 20, 2016 The board would not appoint somebody who would challenge them. And that is exactly what the club needs!
Mello Yello 2,265 Posted December 20, 2016 Must be left-wing labour and a Catholic. Oh and be submissive and non disruptive to the NCFC Board.......Must also have hair so as to tug forelock when required.....although, a strongly glued syrup to the follicle challenged pate will be acceptable...... jeagle 0 Posted December 20, 2016 In seriousness, sooner or later we are going to need someone to come in and freshen the whole squad up, clear out some of the bigger earners and use the promising youngsters. If not we''ll slip back into debt and the board will be doing all they can to run a ship tighter than a ducks backside. Horse Renoir 1 Posted December 21, 2016 Just seen that Championship nothing club with pretty ordinary owners Huddersfield have managed to keep Wagner from joining Wolfsburg. Sickening when you consider what state us and Villa we''re in when we lost Lambert to them. Guess we can forget trying to temp Wagner then when we eventually get around to putting Neil out of his misery. Not that I''d have expected us to be looking at a manager like that anyway. Seriously though. How the hell have Huddersfield managed to keep him away from such a big club in his home nation? It''s not like they even have much money to spend!
