if we were told at the start of the season that at the half way point, we''d be 12th and 7 points off the playoffs - and having just lost 8 out of 10 and at the bottom of the form table....we would have all said that Neil would be long gone under those circumstances, and surely the board would have thought that too.

You can only imagine that the first couple of months of the season when we were top have clouded their view....had we had lost a couple ,won a couple, drawn a view and bobbed along in mid table all season, I think he would have been gone by now, but because of the start we had ,the board clearly couldnt have foreseen and have been completely unprepared for the subsequent slump.
