djc 0 Posted December 28, 2016 Statement of intent from the board would be nice.Even something like... We have seen the results of the fans poles, but we intent to stand by Alex Neil. And reasoning why!OrWe acknowledge the situation. Clearly it is unacceptable. We have let the manager know our expectations.OrWe will support transfer activity.OrShut up complaining fans and keep lining our coffers.Silence is deafening, and only adding to the current levels of unrest. The locals are revolting...😃
Van wink 2,994 Posted December 28, 2016 If they are going to stick with AN a maybe they would prefer to say nothing.Delia has made her position on long term management clear. Our is not to reason why!
Cantiaci Canary 610 Posted December 28, 2016 They have made it clear that they think Neil is the best man for the job long term and won''t add further comment until that changes. We aren''t there yet. They won''t be interested in a web poll.
lake district canary 4,823 Posted December 28, 2016 If there were more fan/club meetings where fans could voice concerns, then there would be more stuff forthcoming from the board. There should be more meetings like at the agm where fans can adress members of the board. Monthly meetings maybe with the CEO and a group of fans would mean a little more openess - and lead to better relations and understanding between the club and it''s fans. Jim Smith 2,608 Posted December 28, 2016 I am becoming more and more convinced that the imbeciles jumped the gun and gave him a stupid contract after the playoff final and now we have to sell some players in January in order to be able to afford to pay him off. Which would make it a double whammy.
Syteanric 1 Posted December 28, 2016 "We''re pleased to announce Alex has signed an 8 year contract with the club, to allow us to push forwards and acheieve or aims"That''s a statement too.

Rogue Baboon 0 Posted December 28, 2016 What can they say that wouldn''t cause a chaotic atmosphere at the Derby game?Of course, except for that he has been sacked...
AJ 1,358 Posted December 28, 2016 The board obviously feel that releasing a statement that says "We Don''t Know What We''re Doing" might be damaging for the club, so they''re keeping quiet for the moment
JF 694 Posted December 28, 2016 I don''t know about a board statement, but Nephew Toms latest child isa statement is in and I can reveal that he has just over 500 quid to pump into the transfer kitty for January
TIL 1010 5,246 Posted December 28, 2016 The worrying thing about a board statement is that they will have been advised by Joe the media guru.
