Not Alex Neil Team

Recommended Posts

on paper that formation and team looked decent. In reality it was largely awful but maybe we should have won. It comes down to is it the manager or is it the players? We saw a group of players under performing under Adams look like league beaters under Neil so maybe that could happen again. Or Maybe these players just don''t have the fight to go again. It''s a roll of the dice but it needs to be taken now.

When we turn this bad spell around it will be because we have sorted out our defensive problems. Without that foundation it will be virtually impossible. This was an improvement as far as that''s concerned at least so we have to give it a few games to see if it is the solution against stronger teams.

Let''s hope the tombolla gives us the same defence next week.

It was good to see that we can play a formation different from what we have been doing all season. A good pointer for the future perhaps.

The only slight problem I see is that the only time 4-2-3-1 has worked well for the last month or two was against ............... Brentford when we won 5-0.

So today we change the formation ........ and draw!

Nice to see him change formation but odd time to do it when we know how well (for once) our 4-2-3-1 worked against them.
You have to have the right players to make a formation work vinwank.
So why has Neil insisted on the complex 4-2-3-1 when we only have one proven DM in the squad?Today he changes the formation, at long last, but to a 3-5-2 which also requires two DM''s, the f*cking novice [A]Easy to comprehend I suppose, considering we''re talking about a ''manager'' who only picked up his UEFA coaching ''B'' license last year [:|]
