The Unsullied

Even dirty Leeds

Recommended Posts

Seem to have no trouble what so ever in attracting investors

Really is a disgrace that the Stowmarket duo are holding back the club by a) not investing in it properly themselves b) seeking suitable alternative investment which is clearly in abundance

How much longer do we have to suffer their regressive ownership

whats the point of additional investment when we have a regressive recruitment team and ill advised spending?

This most expensively built squad is proof that cash alone is not enough.

Just proves that these rich benefactors are out there and Leeds are already better than us.

It''s clear that it''s not that we can''t attract them but that we won''t entertain them.

Someone should make Delia divulge EVERY approach that she''s knocked back.

Think you will probably find that the buyer at Leeds is a distant cousin or something of Cellino, if only the FA had a way of measuring if a person was fit to own a football club...........

Fit and proper person is an established principal in some other regulated commercial areas, why not?
Probably bought it for a song with Cellino facing another ban. For those who want ANY foreign investor just as long as they are rich would do well to look at Cellino''s record at Leeds.......leeds-united/massimo-cellino-timeline-the-ups-and-downs-of-leeds-united-s-controversial-owner
Or you could look at what foreign ownership has done at :

AFC Bournemouth, Southampton or Watford.

As I pointed out some time ago, Preston are a well run club in terms of their operational costs (not including player wage s or transfers) after adjusting for the size of gates and that they do not have Delia''s non match day catering.

Enjoy!

For the sake of balance. Look at how the familial succession approach has worked at Wigan and Blackpool

I can''t seem to find any actual success stories with this approach either.

I guess, one day, if we are really lucky, we might get an owner as good as Cellino

I honestly don''t mind Delia bashing but find a better example, the guy clearly has a personality disorder or something

Worked out well for Portsmouth, Notts County and Blackburn too.

Strange post. Blackburn won the Premier League title by being the first club in the PL to benefit from a rich investor.

Ancient history now though. The pace of change in the game - particularly at the top level - means the amounts of cash the likes of Jack Walker or Delia have is now small fry.
