Making Plans 957 Posted January 14, 2017 The case for the prosecution is 100% watertight. It should be an open & shut case (preferably by 6pm)
ricardo 7,945 Posted January 14, 2017
I don''t think it is a cr@ppy team, rather that Neil doesn''t care enough about organising a defence. Perhaps it was the board''s reaction to Hughton? Wanted an ''entertaining'' manager??
Agreed, I''m sick of seeing the same goal conceded game after game. I don''t understand how he cannot see the problem.
Alfie54 83 Posted January 14, 2017 Could be really messy next week at Carrow Road with Lambert coming back!
Crafty Canary 545 Posted January 14, 2017 If only the board had the foresight of Highland Canary.A thrashing by the scum at the end of February should do it.

Les 0 Posted January 14, 2017 His head should have been demanded around 2 months ago .He should have been sent packing at the end of October 2015 !!!!
JF 694 Posted January 14, 2017 He won''t be sacked and we will go on to beat wolves next week. It''s the Hughton scenario all over again. Gets the results when they are needed but we won''t trouble the play off positions. Our board and owners make the same mistakes time and time again

He should have been sacked then. He''s not have survived that at Newcastle or Villa. But that''s an ambitious board for you.

Coq au vin 0 Posted January 14, 2017 Hi all. Go get yourselves a drink if you haven''t already. I''m over it now. My paitence has run out. Rotherham ffs. I know it''s arrogant to say it but come on, fkng Rotherham. 😒
king canary 8,652 Posted January 14, 2017 @MorganIt isn''t arrogant to expect us to beat a team that have won 3 times all season.
Yellow Fever 4,399 Posted January 14, 2017 AN got us promoted with a squeeze two years ago with an inherited team, started well enough in the Premier and then things slowly went wrong and was unable to stop or identify the rot. This has continued in the Championship after a good start. I have lost confidence that he knows his best team or can fix the problem. Time is up - time to go. Alex Moss 2,167 Posted January 14, 2017 Whereas I don''t blame Alex for Nelson''s sending off, and have a great deal of respect for the chap, my mainconcern has always been that with this squad in this division then I don''t believe you''d have to be a great manager to get us promoted. That''s the reality for me I''m afraid.
ROBFLECK 134 Posted January 14, 2017 Keeping this muppet until the end of the season would show NO respect at all for the supporters! But I think this board will keep him...they know the people will keep on coming...this is Naaarich...isn''t it?
OldRobert 38 Posted January 14, 2017

It will go on. Before today most on here we''re back supporting Neil. He''d lost it at Brighton, and should have gone then. Spineless board. Delusional fans. We''re a joke, and deserve the dross being served up.
No they weren''t.
Herman is correct Lincoln. With respect, I think you''re getting confused by the amount of noise made by the so called Happy Clappers with they''re actual numbers. Sure there are the usual candidates such as Nutty for whom the club can do no wrong, and then there is LDC who is fixated, amongst other things, on the people who have booed at the manager/team during a match and is unable to comprehend that if you boo at somebody 60 minutes after the event you are objecting to, they don''t know what you are on about.Regretfully I don''t think that whoever is the manager of NCFC is going to make a huge difference in the greater scheme of things. Most acknowledge that the current owners are not wealthy enough to establish us in the PL should we get back there (unlikely in the current season), and they do give an impression of being happy enough to stay in the Championship, away from the type of monied, foreign owned clubs they seem to despise so much. Many supporters are wary of new owners, preferring to look at the bad foreign ones rather than the good ones, of which there ARE some. So here we sit, dissatisfied, wanting, in the main a new manager which might improve our league position, but what we really need as well is new owners too, to move into a new era. Otherwise we will be like the scum for decades or, and it could happen, even lower than them.Just my opinion.
Yellow Wal 315 Posted January 14, 2017 Before anyone says that AN cannot be blamed for Nelson''s sending off just remember that, at the time, we were a goal down and playing terribly. Most of football is about opinion the one thing that isn''t is the results. The results are not good enough. Time to go Alex.

Countryside Canary 0 Posted January 14, 2017 City4eva-"the owners also know that they have so many happy clappers that will go along with whatever decision they make"Sadly this is so true, there will never be a huge desire by the owners to push this club on whilst so many are happy to clap any old rubbish they see being "played" each week. Its embarrassing at times
Darth Canary1 92 Posted January 14, 2017 Well my patience has run out. I do agree with Morty that the players have let him down but ultimately the results are just awful in the main and ive no confidence he knows how to correct things.
GPs Beard 0 Posted January 14, 2017 I said he was a dead man walking weeks ago. I haven''t read this whole thread but I''m happy to contribute to a thread that Ricardo sets up even though I don''t always agree with some of his stuff . Should have gone well before Christmas - new manger new window . Our season is now dead as we basically knew it was after the Leeds game. Only the very basic norwich fan can see light at the end , forget cycles , forget luck , forget the premier league - this is a shocking run with a decent squad and a terrible set up . McCarty would have this squad higher that Neil.

Jim Smith 2,547 Posted January 14, 2017 He needs removing right now before he can do any more damage. He must not be allowed to sell or bring in any more players. I fear he will move players out to try and save his own skin when the reality is they are good enough if managed properly. I really feel this is the case with Olsson. We are selling so Neil can raise cash to try and make a couple of desperation signings.
ron obvious 1,698 Posted January 14, 2017 Listening to the interview, I think he''s gone. But I also think he won''t go until he''s sacked. He won''t walk. His reputation is down the pan, & he needs all the cash he can get.
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted January 14, 2017 McCarthy would have had this squad challenging for auto promotion There, I said it...
sonyc 6,144 Posted January 14, 2017 Fair crack of the whip? I would say so. But I was wrong when I suggested he would be dismissed weeks ago and now I don''t think he will be sacked! I''ve actually lost a lot of my hope. Only a few fans today joins in the "Neil Out" chants. And like me many couldn''t even be bothered to join them. But all, around there was genuine anger. It''s unbelievable management to send a seasoned Toffolo out on loan as a specialist LB and play Whittaker who is NOT a LB and honestly was puffing the whole game and actually was extremely uncomfortable with his left foot, let alone lacking in pace for much of the match. This is not a bash Whittaker thread it''s the incompetence of the manager. Surely he must have known Olsson was leaving? It''s incredible.
