Pre match Saturday

Recommended Posts

I keep offering hoola, but they are all mysteriously busy.

And, on topic, I eat at All bar one pre game.

Avoid anywhere on Prince of Wales Road. It''s full of undesirables.

Talking about scampi last week made me go out a purchase a bag of Youngs scampi tails, with joy at £3:99 was a pound off!

Imagine my surprise to cut the bag open empty the contents onto a large baking try, for one moment I thought the had not emptied the entire contents as only a measly ten covered my tray!

Suffice to say 5 scampi each doesn''t go very far!

I love Mambo Jambos but I tend to eat after the match as their portion size is rather large!
I am taking Mrs Warner to the game on Saturday and wish to treat her to a nice pre match meal.

Any suggestions for a special treat?
Just a shame that the salad dodging Unsullied is not around anymore as he may well advised you on The Gunn Club or the all you can eat chinese on Riverside. Mind you he had no shame as i am told he was spotted in The Farm Shop on the A17 earlier this week.

Wig and Pen is my usual haunt. Decent food, always full of City fans, footy on the box, good ales.
